Modern 3 Bedroom Lake House- Close To Restaurants and Beach Access

This newly renovated 3 bed/2 bath home is perfect for your stay on the lake. Open concept kitchen and living room provide the perfect space to entertain, or relax as a group. Enjoy panoramic waterfront views of Lake Pocotapaug both inside and out!
The spacious yard is partially fenced, perfect for lawn games, playing outside with the kids, or catching some sun.
Directly next door to the house is Lakeside Bar & Grille. On Friday and Saturday evenings (summer only) they typically have live music outside- which ends between 10:30 and 11 pm. It is a fun and lively atmosphere, but please take this into consideration when booking if you have children or anyone in your group that will be disrupted by noise. It is not terribly loud within the house, but you can hear it.
Also within walking distance is the Happiest Paddler- a locally owned kayak and paddle board rental shop. If sand and swimming are more your vibe, Sears Park is just a 5 minute walk down the street. They have public restrooms, a picnic area, and a playground for the kiddos.
Parking- The driveway can fit up to 3 vehicles. There is no off street parking.

Great house! No regrets

My family of 5 took a trip to visit family. The house is beautiful and clean. The front yard overlooks the lake. The restaurant next door is very convienent.

Relaxing Lake and Golf stay

Stephanie was an excellent host, responsive and helpful. The location was perfect to attend the PGA Tour event in Cromwell. There were also good golf courses nearby to play. The location right on the lake offered excellent views and a way to cool off on the hotter days. The restaurant next door had excellent food conveniently right there. While we didn't use the firepit it did offer a nice seating area and great place to relax with lake views.I would absolutely stay again and recommend to anyone.

Year-Round Beautiful

This is our second stay here this winter, as we traveled back to see family. It’s a very relaxing and comfortable place. Beautiful view of the lake. The hosts thought of every detail. We didn’t get the chance to go next door to Lakeside Restaurant, but we know it’s top notch. We would definitely return to this Lake lodge in the future!

Perfect!

Beautiful, cozy lakehouse. Wonderful walks along lakeside. House was very clean, comfortable and very well appointed - had everything we needed and more. Host was kind, helpful, generous and communicative. We enjoyed the restaurant next door - food was very good. We hope to revisit in the future!

Property was quite nice. spacious with alot of amenities. I liked the open floor plan. the beds were comfortable. Whatever I needed for cooking was readily available. The lake view was quite impressive.

Family Getaway

The home was absolutely beautiful! Perfect location with a beautiful lakeside view. The rooms were decorated beautifully and were very spacious as well. There was a restaurant right next to us, which had some music and people chatting, however this did not bother us at all. The host (Stephanie) was also very sweet, even gifted us a gift card to the restaurant next door (which we absolutely used, and food was great). I look forward to staying here again in the future! I highly recommend!

Such a beautiful house! Me, my husband and my 2 kids (6 YO and 8 month old) loved the house and the area. Such a beautiful view looking right out at the lake across the street!There's a small beach a 5 min walk away with a playground. We went to the restaurant next door a few times bc the food was so delicious and it was so nice eating on the patio. We were able to have a small fire in the front yard and roasted marshmallows. Grocery store is right down the street.Stephanie always responded quickly when I had questions and was incredibly helpful suggesting places nearby that were kid friendly.

Nicknamed the Belltown, East Hampton is a hidden gem in CT. Panoramic lake views make this the perfect romantic getaway or family vacation. Bring your paddleboards and kayaks, or walk across the street and rent a variety of water crafts at the Happiest Paddler.
Although Lake Pocotopaug is the main attraction in the summer, there is so much to take in during your stay.
The Gelston House is an opera house and restaurant- a must see if you have the time. There’s also Arrigoni winery and cidery- just a 10 minute drive from the house. They are family friendly and offer many house made wines, ciders, and snacks. Check their website as they have live music and host events throughout the year.
Finally, Lakeside Bar and Grille is directly next door. For those of you that want to indulge without driving, definitely check it out. They have a large outdoor patio/ bar, which is typically enclosed in the cooler months.
