Other things to note

☼ Please be considerate of other residents; noisy parties and events are prohibited. Failure to comply with this rule will result in the cancellation of the reservation.

☼ Please be careful around the swimming pool area as the pool is unguarded.

☼ Important: take note that the electricity is not included in the rental price (15 RD$/ kw). The meter will be read upon arrival and again upon departure. The difference will be paid in cash on the day of your departure. This additional charge is common practice for accommodations equipped with air conditioning. Electricity in Las Terrenas can be expensive when used heavily. To minimize your expense, only run the air conditioning units when necessary, with bedroom doors and windows closed. The ceiling fans work well to assist in maintaining comfortable room temperatures.

☼ Do not drink the tap water! Tap water is not reliably potable in the Dominican Republic. Filtered water is provided in large bottles in the kitchen.

☼ In the Dominican Republic, it is common practice to refrain from flushing ANY toilet paper OR feminine hygiene products down the toilet (as that will likely cause a sewage backup). For your convenience, containers are located in each bathroom.
