Three of us stayed for four nights and it was wonderful for each of us to have a bedroom to ourselves. The house was tastefully decorated, very clean and cozy. There was ample parking for two vehicles and the price suited us well. I would highly recommend this place for a stay in Calgary.

Our family had a wonderful time! The house was spotlessly clean, and we really appreciated the thoughtful provision of toiletries and fresh towels. The excellent air conditioning made our stay incredibly comfortable, especially on such a hot summer day. So glad we booked this place!

Clean but noisy
Rental is in a nice area and was very clean. The renters in the basement were very noisy though. We ended up leaving the rental early because of the noise from the other tenants.

Hi Erik, as you were advised before and after booking with us, Calgary noise by-laws are strictly enforced as house rules. These specify quiet hours between 10 pm and 7 am. You were complaining about noise after 7 am. As well, your plans changed and you left early. Your choice. Mark

The home was a great place to stay for the price. It was large and had plenty of space. Some things in the kitchen seemed quite worn, particularly the sink and dishwasher, but everything was functional. It was also nice to be able to park in the garage. One thing that renters should be aware of is that the basement suite is also a rental, and we could hear quite a bit from upstairs. I suggest bringing ear plugs just in case.

Hi Ute, 'tired looking' if you're not into classic elegance, I guess. Oddly enough, the removable wand in the shower is easily configured for your comfort and utility. The en-suite bathroom has an oversized jetted tub for your comfort and enjoyment. I'm sorry you did not appreciate our suite. Mark

Great location and very clean. Unfortunately we didn’t realize there were people staying in the other half of the house. It is a legal property with no access to either side by the other. However we could hear noises at night which freaked out some of our group. And we opened our bedroom curtains to the sight of other people in a hot tub down below. We didn’t care at all that it’s shared. We just would have appreciated if that was mentioned somewhere in the listing so we were aware when someone walked by the window setting off the motion sensors. Lol. A few very minor things need attention such as the lock on the bathroom door and the plug in the jacuzzi. But once you’re away of these things it was a great place.

It is spacious, with a classic italian design. Kitchen and all supplies are great.It's relaxing to have used the jetted tub.However, the house is only superficially clean. I can say, because my husband and my youngest daughter got a very bad allergy and got so sick of dust mites, particularly in the master's bedroom. We needed to clean wiped the top surfaces of its door frame, windows, wardrobe top surfaces which showed a black dusts, and we needed to take those two artificial indoor plants out of the room as they are so dusty. This feedback may help the unit owner to remind their cleaners to do some deep cleaning. But overall, this is a good place to stay, good location and quiet neighborhood.
