Forget your worries in this bright, spacious home just a short walk from White Rock Beach and the Marine Drive waterfront. Set in a quiet, family-friendly pocket of South Surrey, it's an easy, comfortable base for a family holiday or a group getaway by the sea.

Inside you'll find three bedrooms and an open living and dining area filled with natural light, with big windows framing green, ocean-view surroundings. The full kitchen has everything you need to cook a proper meal, from the stove and oven to the dishwasher and plenty of counter space, and there's a dining table with room for the whole group. In-suite laundry makes longer stays simple, and free parking right out front is an easy bonus.

As travelers, we intentionally choose VRBOs because we love getting a more local feel. We don’t use hotels because we love the comforts of being at a home with all the conveniences. This VRBO was missing many of the normal items which were either not available or not efficient. Many things required repair such as broken fan and loose towel rack. Some items missing/lacking included adequate dishes and stem ware, only one wine glass (with no wine opener), a baking sheet, no Tupperware, ziplock bags, aluminum foil and an appropriate garbage can for kitchen area. These are small things that can be easily addressed.The location was in a great neighborhood with a peek a boo view of the water but no way to access it.

This property is a great choice for anyone visiting the White Rock area! It is conveniently located close to many amenities, and is a great space for larger groups. Extremely clean, very comfortable beds, and lots of great spices and oils for cooking. Note, there is no BBQ and limited outdoor seating - so bring your own chairs if you want to enjoy the outdoor setting as a group. Also, the kitchen is somewhat sparingly equipped, if you want to do your own cooking - there is limited cookware, utensils, and baking dishes. Also, bring your own tissues and paper towel. However - if you're not worried about that, or you can bring your own stuff, then rest assured this is a great choice!

Great place to stay!

This property was spacious and beautiful! Great view from the living room, and very quiet! Anybody who is hesitant to book due it being a lower level suite, I can tell you that we had no issues with noise from above!

Decent, could be better

The property is spacious, and comfortable. Communicating with the host was difficult and we did not get a timely response to our inquiries. Over all the stay was decent, but could of been better. The location was absolutely beautiful and had a great view.

We stayed here while in White Rock for our daughter’s wedding. We know the area well, so this stay was especially disappointing.Although the property is on Marine Drive, there is no beach access and it is not walkable to the promenade, downtown shops, restaurants, beaches, or other services. We had to drive everywhere, which was not what we expected.The towels were dingy, some stained, and the toiletries were a random assortment of partially used bottles. The mattresses sagged noticeably in the middle, and there weren’t enough pillows.The primary bedroom was very odd. It had a tiny barred window and a bedroom door with a lock on the outside, making it appear someone could be locked inside. There was also a sink on one wall, a utility closet with cleaning supplies, and the dresser was filled with extra linens, leaving nowhere to unpack or hang clothes. We lived out of our suitcases. There was also a persistent cooking smell throughout the house.The owner kindly stopped by during our stay, but only our son was home and declined to let him in. While well intentioned, we would have preferred not to have an unannounced visit.Overall, this property did not meet our expectations. If you’re looking for a place where you can walk to the beach or downtown White Rock, this is not it.

Terrible experience - Not suitable for adults, zero supportBooked this 3BR "charming home" on March 6 for 6 adults. The listing made it sound perfect for our group. When we arrived, the third bedroom had only child-sized bunks. No way adults could sleep there. The property was not as described for 6 grown people.Called the host right away. She said she'd contact the owner and call me back. Never heard from her again. No offer of cots, no alternative, nothing.Called VRBO management. They basically told me it was my fault for not studying the pictures hard enough and refused any refund or credit. Promised to contact the owner and get back within 24 hours. That never happened either.We couldn't stay there. Left immediately and had to scramble for a more expensive alternative last minute. Complete waste of time and money.This is false advertising plain and simple. The listing needs to clearly state the bunk beds are child-sized only. Hosts and VRBO need to actually help when the property doesn't match the description instead of blaming the guest.Do not book if you're bringing adults who need real beds. Save yourself the headache.

Overall. Great stay very quiet and clean. Fit 6 people comfortably. Minor concerns. We had no dish soap, one roll of toilet paper for 6 people for 5 nights. Limited utensils and plates for all 6 of us. Limited towels. The main bedroom was weird it had bars on the window and deadbolt on an inside door. So you could get locked in and not get out. Overall would stay again if we had supplies and a different door.

Not very Clean

We found the unit well equipped but not very clean. The table was sticky the douvet cover was stained and the shower curtain was moldy as were the window sills. The place needs a good deep cleaning!!!

This was a really nice suite. Excellent, quiet location with ample off-street parking. Pictures and descriptions were exactly as we experienced. Everything was well stocked and well equipped. Because there is only one bathroom, but there were 6 of us getting ready for a wedding, a mirror and desk/chair in each bedroom would have made it easier for us women to do our hair and makeup. However, we could see in the pictures that this was going to be the situation, so we brought hand mirrors with us. Perhaps one day the host will add this feature to the bedrooms. Additionally, although there is a dresser in the master bedroom, there isn't a closet to hang suits/dresses, although the other two bedrooms did have closets.That said, these are not deal breakers, and we would absolutely stay here again.

Kitchen was sparse of supplies. Limited dish soap. No coffee available or sugars. Limited cooking Utensils. Lots of dishes. BIG fridge. Limited toilet paper and bathroom supplies. No air conditioning. Place was stuffy with limited air flow. Had a night that smelled like cannibus in the apartment. Could use a deep clean. Fairly updated. Master bed was great. Others uncomfortable. Living room was very nice. No view. No beach access.

Christmas holiday

Very good, mostly quiet location. Perfect for our family of 3 while visiting my sister for Xmas living 2 blocks away. Big bed is comfortable. Other blue room bed has springs poking your back and very uncomfortable at night. Limited plates, cutlery, etc provided that we had to hand-wash dishes. Owner was very quick to respond to my request. Initially for the 7 night stay we had half a toilet paper roll, but I asked the owner upstairs and he brought a pack of TP. The liquid dish soap brought to us as the one container there was empty when we arrived was delivered as watered down. You actually end up using more when it’s watered down as it squirts out fast. Overall happy with our stay. Thank you.

The bath towels felt a little dingy and stained and there were not enough pillows in the king or queen size bed. 4 on each would’ve been nice. Otherwise it was a clean basement level unit. Not a lot of natural light, so just something to be aware of. The primary bed room had a fire door that needed to be held open with an ottoman. If we had young children with us we wouldn’t have been comfortable at night closing that door. Overall a clean comfortable stay.

We had a great stay at this property. The location was excellent and made it easy to enjoy everything White Rock & Crescent Beach has to offer. The house was clean, comfortable, and suited our needs well.A few extra supplies would have made the stay even better, such as more paper towels, bath towels, and dishes. We also found the queen bed and bunk beds a bit uncomfortable. Other than those minor issues, everything was great and we enjoyed our stay. Would happily stay here again.
