    The property was clean, comfortable, and charming. I really appreciated the attention to detail. My only suggestion would be regarding the number of posted rules—there seemed to be quite a few (kitchen, backyard, bathroom, etc.). While I understand the intent to keep things organized, it felt a little overwhelming at times. Perhaps consolidating or simplifying them could make the experience feel more relaxed. I would definitely stay here again though.

    Close to restaurants and bars. Location was close to bioluminescent tours, we didnt book a rental car and walked to all places we needed to go, surprisingly clean, no bugs. We were skeptical about this place reading other reveiws online, but the place was well maintained and clean. Plenty of parking (which we didnt need to use)

    We stayed in this room for 1 night to experience the clear kayak bioluminescent night tour. We already had a large VRBO rented for the week in Culebra but wouldn’t be able to return the night of this tour due to the ferry schedules.This place was perfect for our needs and I appreciate the other reviewers who led me to choose this place. It is just what you need. Clean beds, hot shower, cold A/C throughout (unlike our expensive place in Culebra), a fridge to keep our drinks cold…This place was literally minutes from our biobay meeting place. We decided to explore in between the time we arrived to Vieques until our tour, and coincidentally every place we chose was very close to this VRBO’s location!We saw TONS of wild horses. We were even able to pet one out front of this place. We drove to the Puerto Ferro lighthouse ruins, explored Playa Negra (the Black Sand Beach), and Ceiba tree park (not realizing the oldest Ceiba tree we were searching for was by the pier as we were advised later).The neighborhood had quite a bit of abandoned buildings, but it felt safe.Check-in couldn’t have been easier. No direct contact. We received an email with the check-in info which worked seamlessly. Place to keep luggage before & after check-in/out which we didn’t need but nice touch.Owner even provided a 2nd set of towels which were PERFECT as we used them to sit on in our Jeep to help keep the seats dry following our kayak adventure. Worked like a charm.Highly recommend!

    My family of four loved our stay here! There was enough room for all of us, and the shower was the best we had in Puerto Rico. The apartment is right in the middle of a local neighborhood, so you get a real feel for the community. Many restaurants are within a 5 minute walk, as well as a small beach, with dozens of other larger beaches a few minute drive away.

    Absolutely delightful little place with everything needed! Perfect walking distance to some adorable and delicious restaurants, bio tours (we timed our stay incorrectly at full moon, whoops, but had so much fun still!), and beautiful beaches!     Cute little apartment

    This 1 bedroom apartment was perfect for our overnight stay. The furnishings were basic but met our needs. The apartment looks exactly like the pictures. The only recommendation I would give the host would be to provide an extra blanket as there was only one extra for the entire apartment which my boys used with the pull-out couch and the bed cover in the bedroom was very light. The host was so kind and answered all my questions promptly. We were able to walk back from the bioluminescent tour to the apartment late at night and we felt safe on our walk back. The neighborhood was quiet late at night and the streets were well lit. The apartment was conveniently located in Esperanza, just about a 5-8 min. walk from the meeting points near the water for the bioluminescent tours.

    If you’re looking to be comfortable during your time off while enjoying the beautiful Vieques island, this is your place!!! We were impressed by how well equipped our apartment was, also super clean and neat!!!. Just a 10 min walk from El Malecon. I highly recommend this place!!!

    Our stay was lovely. Everything you needed was there! Things you wouldnt think you need, Outdoor shower, foot wash out side so you don't bring sand into the unit, storage to drop yours off bags until unit is ready. The place was convenient to everything. Local restaurant beach and meet up for tours.must stay!!

    House was great. The location was perfect for bio bay excursion.

    House amenities and location were amazing. Spent 1 night to do the bio bay which you absolutely have to do if you come. Plenty of parking since we rented a jeep. The restaurants were in walking distance with fantastic food and drinks and the beach was amazingOnly downside I feel I have to mention is the roaming/stray dogs. We were circled by a few dogs on our walk home from the boi bay. One of them actually ended up biting me on the ankle and giving me 2 puncture wounds and some bruising. This was by no means the property's fault, but be aware of the animals.

    The perfect space for a perfect time

    Our unit was so nice! It was cool and ac’d with tall ceilings and nicely decorated. The space is larger than expected. The bedroom was quaint and comfortable. The shelving unit was a nice touch. We stayed one night al we could see the bio bay. We always had parking and the property contact was quick to respond. There is a foot wash outside which came in clutch. Would recconmend.

    This property worked out perfect for us! It was within walking distance of everething we wanted to do ! Beaches and restaurants, even the biobay tour pick up spot! Beautiful outdoor area around the back of the building ! Tables, chairs, palms and plants !everywhere!

    The apartment complex is a tropical retreat. There are beautiful trees and plants including star fruit and mango trees. The location is a 5 minute drive to restaurants and grocery stores. Inside the apartment had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable.

    Totally worth it!

    We wanted to visit the bioluminescent lagoon, Mosquito Bay, but we weren't sure we wanted to go through all the trouble to rent a second vehicle (hesitant about leaving our first vehicle behind in Ceiba) and a second property...but we are SO GLAD we did! We were in the perfect location for our tour and had enough time to see all the beaches we had wanted to visit. The pictures do not do it justice--this propery is much cuter in person.

    Mi Pana Apartments are in the beach town of Esperanza, on the south side of Vieques Island. Within a short walk you will find the beach, bio bay pickup locations, two convenience stores and the restaurant strip on the Malecon (boardwalk).  All apartments feature a queen size bed, kitchen and access to washer and dryer. The apartments are fully air conditioned and equipped with sound deadening windows. Ample parking is available in front or on the street.
