A fully stocked 3-bedroom house with WiFi, a new walk-in shower, and 1st-floor master bedroom. Two sitting areas and a large dining table. The highlight is the back deck overlooking the creek below. The perfect setting for your next escape or Ionia visit. 🛋️ Welcome to Prairie Creek Cottage — Layout Overview for Your Stay Our cozy creekside cottage offers a spacious and comfortable layout designed to help you relax and feel right at home. There’s a large, private driveway for your vehicle(s) when you arrive. You’ll use a code for the front door and there’s a side door available as well. 🏡 Main Floor: Master Bedroom: Features a comfortable, queen bed and easy access—no stairs required, except the few to enter the home. Full Bathroom: Recently updated with a new walk-in shower for added comfort. Two Living Areas: Front sitting room perfect for morning coffee or reading. This room has a TV. Back living room with sliding glass doors leading to the deck and peaceful creek views. This room has a TV. Dining Room: A large table great for meals, board games, or working remotely. Kitchen: Fully stocked with cooking essentials, cookware, and small appliances to make you feel at home. 🛏️ Upstairs: Two Bedrooms: Each with unique charm—perfect for kids, friends, or additional guests. Full size beds. 🌳 Outdoor Space: Back Deck: Overlooks Prairie Creek—your personal nature escape. Relax with coffee, enjoy the sounds of the water, or watch for wildlife. There’s a large back yard, and it’s very private. Whether you're staying for a weekend or a week, the layout of Prairie Creek Cottage makes it easy to spread out, reconnect, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings just minutes from downtown Ionia. 🛋️ Guest Access Guests have full access to the entire home, including all three bedrooms, both living areas, the fully stocked kitchen, dining room, bathroom, and the back deck overlooking the creek. 🚫 Please Note: The basement area is not included in the rental and will remain locked during your stay. It is used for owner storage and is not part of the guest-accessible space. We want you to feel completely at home and enjoy the peaceful privacy Prairie Creek Cottage has to offer! Other Details to Note First and foremost, we want your stay at Prairie Creek Cottage to be a wonderful experience and a lasting memory. Whether you're here for a quiet retreat, family visit, wedding or to explore the area, our goal is to make you feel welcome and at home. Prairie Creek Cottage has been in our family for over 50 years, and we’re incredibly proud of the thoughtful updates we’ve made to create a welcoming space for guests. We take great care in maintaining the home and are equally mindful of the quiet, friendly neighborhood it’s part of. To ensure a great experience for everyone, we kindly ask that guests respect the house rules—this includes: - honoring the number of guests listed in the reservation, -as well as our no smoking, no vaping, -no pets -and no events or gatherings policy. At this time, when more than 2 guests stay, there is a $25 charge/person shown by AirBnB’s total charges in advance. Guest totals must be known and paid in advance. If something changes, please notify us prior to your arrival. Max guests are 6. This is a beautiful home that has been well cared for and updated, but it is also on a sewer and well system. This is not a venue or event space for gatherings. Any unregistered guests will result in immediate removal from our home and forfeiture of your payment. A fee of $75/guest will be added to the reservation amount as well. While Prairie Creek Cottage is not a venue and does not permit events or gatherings, we understand that some guests may be in the area for special occasions. We're happy to answer questions in advance to help ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay within the guidelines of the property. We own a rental company and have planned events, and we may be able to assist you - even possibly at the property depending on your potential plans. Unauthorized events, gatherings, or commercial use of the property will result in immediate removal from the property, forfeiture of the rental payment, and additional fees of $500 or more, depending on the scope of the violation and any damages incurred.
