Stunning views

Cute house perched on a hill overlooking the expanse of hill country. Bed is super comfy and loved the luxurious bed linens.Only one negative. Raising the cleanliness of the interior. Found used tissues sitting on a thick layer of dust under the main bed. Smudges on cabinets and on all glass doors. Other than that. Great place.

Great weekend getaway with kids

Beautiful property with amazing views and a great pool. We enjoyed a weekend away from the city. Location was convenient to state parks for some morning hikes, then we enjoyed afternoons in the pool.

Hill Country Getaway!

We wanted to plan a relaxing kick off the summer getaway! We arrived and never left the house, we enjoyed days swimming and lounging by the pool taking in the beautiful view! And evening playing games or watching a movie together. We very much enjoyed our time here. House was clean, kitchen was well supplied and we were able to have groceries delivered from the local HEB. Just keep your eyes peeled for scorpions 😵‍💫😵‍💫 they were everywhere

Beautiful hill country views

We enjoyed the views more than anything! The beds were comfy. It’s a good 20+ minute drive to Wimberley but we were there to relax and enjoy the pool, so not a problem. Wifi was a bit spotty … overall though, a very nice stay. 👍

Amazing Pool and View

It's a drive to get there, windy narrow hilly roads but when you get to the house...the view is STUNNING! The pool was absolute perfection! House was clean. Could use extra bathroom towels and kitchen towels. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful Views and Relaxation

We stayed here Easter weekend to get out of the city and have some relaxation during the pandemic. We were able to take advantage of the pool the first evening and it rained the entire next day but we enjoyed the views... and so did our dog! We also took advantage of the fire pit, gas grill and fully stocked kitchen. We will be visiting again.

We could not ask for a better location for some alone time the pool and the view from the backyard was spectacular even though it rained one day it was still relaxing just to sit on the back porch and watch the rain trickle down the rain chain in watching the rain come across that valley was spectacular

The view itself is worth it!

You can literally stay on the property and not leave your entire stay if you're stocked on groceries...we did not get "bored" one time. Our girls 10 & 13 loved being able to wake up and jump in the pool! Coffee with that view...what more is there to say! Book now!!

2 grandparents, 2 parents and 2 kids (7 & 10) stayed for several days over Thanksgiving. Loved the house, especially the patio. We were able to prepare a full Thanksgiving meal in the kitchen. Highly recommended.

Great little getaway!

The only issue we had was the sheets smelled a little like mildew. I think the cleaning crew doesn’t leave the wager open so it’s gets musty. But that’s all! Everything else was wonderful!

This house is well lived in, it has some good wear and tear inside. But if you like an amazing pool with an amazing view of the hill country, then this house is for you. The only negative thing I might have to say is they didn't have much in stock when it comes to the kitchen, like trash bag, foil, paper towels.

Amazing View and Pool!

We booked this house for our Summer family vacation to get away from all the worries and stresses from the pandemic. We were looking at a beach vacation, but then I came across this home with its own pool and in the hill country with no neighbors! The view is amazing, and the pool was perfect! Our kids really enjoyed the pool all to themselves. They really loved how deep the pool was in the deep end. We brought our dog and he absolutely enjoyed sitting out back on the porch all afternoon and exploring around. The house was clean and has all the kitchen items you need. We will be back again next summer or spring break!

2020s pricing with 2010s style amenities

Pros: The pool and view are incredible. We had a wonderful time relaxing and playing in the pool. The beds and couch are comfy. Cons: Trash can was way down the hill (we were instructed to put trash in the laundry room, yuck) and there were not enough towels or basic supplies. It's been a while since we've been in a VRBO didn't have these basic supplies and for the price, we were surprised this house didn't. If you book here, be sure to bring your own beach towels, pool floats, toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, dish soap, laundry detergent, and dish sponges.

Nice Getaway

This property is located on top of a hill and the view and sunsets are spectacular. The backyard is exactly as the pictures depict. The communication with the management was top notch. The house itself was nice with normal plus and minus as you would expect with most rentals. Kitchen cookware, food storage containers, etc.. were lacking. But I know that stuff can walk. Living room was very nice and comfortable and certainly took advantage of the dual TV setup. Having 4 bedrooms is a plus if you have the need. The "driveway" up from the road needs some work. There is a curve with deep groves and will give rear wheel drive and low sitting cars problems. Fortunately we had a 4x4 and another front wheel drive car so we were able to navigate it fine. I would certainly consider staying here again. Thank you!

Wonderful Weekend!

My friends and I get away one weekend every year (we had to pause last year) and we always want enough bedrooms, a pool and a great place to relax and watch football...yes....a lot of college football. The house exceeded our expectations. The beds were very comfortable. The view was AMAZING...the pool was cool even when it was 100 outside. I spent more time out there than my friends..I can only do so much football. Did I mention one of the main reasons we rented it (besides the 4 bedrooms with grown-up beds, a pool and a view) is the fact that there are 2 TVs. Genius! Yes, the driveway is a challenge - but we parked 3 cars next to the street and took my 4WD up with everyone's bags and supplies. We opted to check in early and the property manager was able to get his sedan up the hill - so it is possible. I am thinking that we will be back next summer...if not sooner. Thank you!!

Beautiful View But Not Worth The Price

The location is beautiful and the house has fairly new appliances but the price was not worth just the view. The house was sort of clean but I would expect it to be immaculate for the price. There were dishes in the dishwasher and used bar soap in the master shower. Made me wonder how much cleaning the cleaning crew actually did before we got there. This was our first time staying at a property that was managing by a company and not the actual owner. We won't be doing that again. The pool was amazing but the weather didn't permit us much use of it. And it could really use some nighttime lighting around and/or in the pool area. There were vague instructions about filling the pool with water should it drop below a certain point. I'm sorry but I'm on vacation. I'm not there to tend to your property. Very poor management. And other reviews were spot on when discussing the lack of amenities available. There were the very bare essentials at the house. It was fine for just the two of us but if you have a larger group, be prepared to fully stock the house. And having to toss our garbage at the bottom of the long, steep, windy driveway is ridiculous. The furniture in the house has seen better days and should be replaced and the outside furniture is pretty but not comfortable. There was a smell in the 2nd bathroom of backed up sewage. Laundry room lights need replacing. Put simply, beautiful view but over priced.
