The location was very scary driving up, to see homeless people, and unsavory characters sitting in cars and walking around. I didn’t feel safe getting out of my car, at the time. However, because we were able to park inside the gate it put me at easy a bit more. The apartment was nicer than I had expected for the location and area. I won’t stay there again but it was close to all amenities.

The property is in a residential neighborhood and people judging people for there color or looks is uncalled for. Someone is allowed to sit in there car and mind there own business. But as she said there is parking inside gate and is perfectly safe.

Apartment was nice and the location was an easy drive to The Venetian where our conference was.Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with tea/coffee and plenty of pots/pans/coming implements.Kenya was very communicative and quickly responded to any questions we had.

The driveway gate is locked with a bike lock, likely because people keep breaking in. Parking requires driving up and over a large curb. The property is littered with garbage and junk. Once we got in, pretty much the only thing that was clean was the refrigerator. The shower had such a leak above the shower head that sprayed out to the side barely any water came out the shower head. The shower curtain wasn’t even water resistant and water went everywhere. The shelves in the shower were still covered is someone else’s soap goo. The kitchen shelves were sticky and grimey. There was mildew in the coffee maker water tank. We went to bed and set the thermostat at 72. The temp never rose above 68 by morning. Heat did not work. Police activity in the neighborhood all night made it hard to sleep. The front door is drafty and not sealed at all. Both door locks were of questionable integrity. We left after the first night. She refused to refund us anything. Lesson learned. That was gross and chilly.

The driveway has ramps to use when wanting to park inside and guest know they are inside gate to use. We have had no breakins at all and we lock gate for more security, a normal thing in society these days. It is a residential neighborhood in Las Vegas not far from Sphere or Vegas Strip. Most homes in Vegas are older homes. Guest had no issues or complaints until they left. They never notified host until leaving. The front door is secure and has a security door on exterior yard is picked up and clean before and during stays any part of yard that guests are not allowed is personal work space for homeowner which dont impede guest stay. Place is cleaned between each stay. The ac and heating work, I have them serviced on a consistent basis. I have no complaints or other guest telling me it was an issue. Also I have checked the shower head and is not spraying water it was just unscrewed from guest possibly moving the shower head to position. I didnt see anything in the coffee pot when upon checking on it and if needed it could of been swapped out. I did tell guest to please inform host about issues when they arise and not time of checkout so they can be addressed at time of issue. Police are all over vegas and even more being close to strip the police are doing there job keeping vegas safe.

The inside of the apartment is nice and clean but the property is located in a run down area. It is located upstairs. I would not feel safe to walk anywhere outside of the apartment. The host however went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable.
