Great house, great location. Perfect for our group. Online listing did say there were 4 beds but we arrived to only find 3. No problem though because it has the most comfortable couch ever made. Great spot.

graduation weekend

This is a perfect house! plenty of space, plenty of parking, comfy couches and beds! Everyone was happy!! In addition, it was super convenient to campus for all the graduation festivities! The owner was great and was very responsive- although we did not need much! The only small detail was that the listing said third bedroom had two beds- and it actually only has one queen bed. Did not matter for us. Would stay here again for sure!

Nice House in College Neighborhood

Surrounded by houses occupied by KU students, this is a nice little house with 3 bedrooms, a nice family room, small kitchen, and back yard. The bathrooms are really nicely renovated, the bedrooms are spacious, and the TVs are smart. The kitchen is tiny and there's little to no glassware so be sure to bring your own...1 wine glass, 1 low ball, and 4 mugs. Otherwise had plateware, silverware, pots, etc. Would happily stay there again. Was there with my kids and they liked it and we all felt safe and welcomed in the neighborhood.

This house has plenty of room, but is very old and run down aside from the bathrooms. There is no dishwasher, back slider is broken and cheap. Cupboards are falling apart and old . Curtains are cheap doesn’t keep streets lights out. Just do some basic upgrades. If u weren’t renting for less money i cld understand but this property doesn’t command that amount of money u are requeating.

Michele, thank you for staying. The curtains in the living room were not intended to block out the street lighting as it’s not a sleeping area. There are blackout shades behind the blinds in the master bedroom which faces the street lighting. Thank you for the information on the patio door, we will check into its functionality. It’s a new patio door definitely not a cheap patio door. Thank you for your input. As far as a dishwasher, correct we do not have a dishwasher. We do not intend to put one in as dishwashers could cause water damage.. I assume the beds were comfortable since you chose not to comment on those. The cabinets will also remain, they are far from a functionality of where people are staying. I certainly would challenge your comments regarding the place is so old it shouldn’t bring in the price we are asking. At $388 for a full kitchen, two bathrooms, three bedrooms that sleep six people, and its location…you won’t find that anywhere else. I’m sorry that your review was affected by the three star in cleanliness we gave, 2.5 was not an option.

Beautiful Home and great location!

The home was absolutely perfect and we loved staying there! My overall rating is not affected by my ratings for check in and communication. The home was double booked. I am so glad I arrived first or I would have been stuck trying to find a last minute stay to accommodate 6 people on KU family weekend. It would have been impossible. My mother in-law is disabled and accommodations have to be carefully vetted. I had also prepared a precooked dinner and was hosting several friends and family so that would have been a disaster. I reached out but was never contacted by the property manager. The other family was able to secure other accommodations and spoke with someone but I never received any communication. I would definitely stay here again despite the double booking and poor communication - I will just be diligent about staying in contact with property manager. I truly don't think this will be a problem in the future.
