First, regarding insects—while we understand that they can be unsettling, it's important to note that the property is located in a hot and humid climate where outdoor pests like cockroaches and other bugs are common. That said, we take pest control very seriously and maintain regular treatments to ensure they don’t enter the home. There was no evidence of any infestation during or after your stay. As for the home's layout, the beds were intentionally placed to maximize privacy and comfort for our guests, and we were transparent about this in the listing photos and description. While the home includes converted spaces such as the garage and sunroom, these were updated to add functional living space and are a common feature in homes of this era. Concerning the odor, this house was built in the 1960s and, like many older homes, it has its own unique character. However, the HVAC system is new and there have been no signs of moisture issues or mildew within the property. We will continue to monitor these systems closely to ensure indoor air quality remains high.
