Private lake and peaceful sunsets 5 miles from Franklin Ky and less than an hour from Nashville. Dog kennel, indoor pickleball court and large porch for a relaxing coffee or evening. Shop with 1920sq ft apartment has a huge bonus room upstairs with large sectional and king size bed. Down stairs has open floor plan one bedroom with queen size bed and full bath with tile shower. Huge kitchen with large island with bar seating. Enjoy the privacy and scenic views of rural Franklin with all the amenities just miles away. Whether you’re looking for bourbon distillery tour at Dueling Grounds Distillery or check out the Thursday night cruise in on the square Franklin is only 5 minutes away. Too many activities to list being right between Nashville and Bowling Green.

If you are looking for the perfect spot for peace and quiet look no further. The view with of the pond was incredible, not to mention the fishing, big kitchen for cooking and plenty of seating, indoor pickle ball court was amazing and very comfortable beds, can’t wait to return.

Do you like the host walking in at any moment unannounced? Do you also like three dogs in your space jumping on your vehicle as well as kids and grandkids? Then this is the place for you. The host was extremely disrespectful of our privacy as he walked in several times unannounced without contacting us first which is a direct violation of VRBO policy. No where in the listing does it indicate that there are "shared spaces" or that you are vacationing with someone else's dog's but clearly that was the case. We DEFINITELY will not return to this VRBO when we are back in the area.

I walked in the shop garage area 3 times in 3 days to take the trash out and water the plants. If you read the previous reviews you would know that most people love the dogs. Some too much which has caused them to get into some bad habits which I’m working on fixing. Easily the least friendly worst experience we’ve had with a renter. The only time I was in the living area was the day of check-in to fix the toilet.

It was a nice property. The dogs do hang out with you but I love dogs so it was no problem. I miss them already.

We had a lovely stay and enjoyed playing pickleball and watching the dogs play together. The beds were comfortable and the home was spacious but cozy!

We had a wonderful stay! The entire unit was clean and comfortable. The bathroom is large with an awesome shower! We really enjoyed the large porch overlooking the pond. Our first night we heard three species of owls calling! My Dad and I enjoyed fishing, catching a number of sunfish species, many of which were good-sized. We also caught some Largemouth bass, a couple of which were big. We were about 15 minutes from Kentucky Downs and about an hour from Nashville. Pelican Snoballs in Franklin have yummy snoballs and ice cream if you are looking for a treat. As a few others have mentioned in reviews, the owners have dogs that freely roam the property. Although we enjoyed the company of the dogs, if you aren't a dog-lover, have allergies. or have children or pets who don't get along with dogs, this may not be the place for you. I would suggest checking with the owner ahead of time if you have any concerns. He answered a number of questions I had prior to booking, and was timely in his responses.We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, and would not hesitate to return if in the area. Thanks so much!!

The most beautiful views, home was super clean with lots of space! had so much fun fishing and playing pickleball, stopped here on a cross country trip but had so much fun it would be worth a 6 hour trip just to stay here again!

We loved this place! It’s newly renovated, peaceful and spacious. The early morning view is stunning. The pickleball court was a definite plus since we love to play. If we ever make our way to Franklin again we will book our stay here. I highly recommend.

The property was really nice. Downside was the owner lives on the property and has hunting dogs that run free. It made it very problematic for us to walk our dogs because there is no fenced yard. It felt like we were a bother to the host because we asked him to put his dogs up. But the shower was great and pickle ball court was nice

All that is correct we do have dogs with GPS fence system. We have never had an issue with guests or other dogs. He claimed my dogs were too friendly. I guess he should inquire before bringing show poodles to a Vrbo.

The property is serene and a great environment to relax and unwind. The accommodations are very comfortable, clean, and easy to access. The owners thought about the vacation experience, offering key amenities needed and nothing was missed. Stella and Gus (dogs) were my favorite additions, who were great companions as we relaxed outside. Great spot to fish! Will definitely reserve again!

Relaxing with the right amount of fun

Our family enjoyed the serenity of this stay. The area was beautiful. We all enjoyed playing pickleball and catching bass in the lake. Stayed for a couple days after visiting nashville and it was the perfect place to unplug and unwind together. Clean with comfortable sleeping. Thanks!!
