Nestled in the heart of Slovenian Istria, just a few kilometers from Koper, Villa Domenico sits on the blooming and sun-kissed hill of Sv. Anton. This boutique retreat is an intimate tribute to nature and the legacy of our ancestors. Stepping inside, you begin a gentle journey through time where tradition meets comfort, and the feel of the land is imbued in every detail. The villa is ideal for couples, families, small groups, and creatives seeking calm or the thrill of discovering something new. While we love children and enjoy their presence, the house may not be the most suitable choice for kids aged 3–6, due to certain features of the garden and interior.
The area offers beautiful views of the sea and the surrounding green hills, reflecting the gentle rhythm of the landscape. With its fenced courtyard and spacious Mediterranean garden, the villa provides a secure and relaxing retreat. It is a place of calm and quiet where nature, comfort and the essence of slow living come together. Sleep deeply in spacious rooms with natural linens and blackout curtains. Cook with fresh herbs in a fully equipped summer kitchen or enjoy sunset dinners under the trees in the villa's private garden. A large open living area, four intimate bedrooms (three with double beds, one with a single bed), and a full modern bathroom provide all the comforts of a 4-star stay without the pretense. Due to its favorable location, Villa Domenico is particularly suitable for trips to coastal cities (Koper, Izola, Piran) or other places in Slovenia (Ljubljana, Bled), Croatian Istria (Umag, Rovinj, Zagreb) and Italy (Trieste, Venice). For lovers of active holidays, it is perfect for cycling trips (connection to Parenzana), hiking and water sports.
We visit the villa once or twice a day to water the plants and care for the chickens, but we do not disturb your privacy. Should you need anything, we’re always just a message away.
