Welcome to the Mitchell Suite above Dolce!

Stay in beautiful Bryson City across the street from the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad! You can walk to shops, breweries, restaurants, and to board the train or you can sit on your private front deck and watch the train! Deep Creek (our closest entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park) is a short 5 minute drive. At Deep Creek you can hike, picnic, and tube! We are conveniently located 15 minutes (driving) from the rafting and zip lining on the Nantahala River and 15 minutes from Cherokee. Our suite is situated above Dolce (our coffee roaster & cafe) where you can enjoy a complimentary muffin and coffee each morning and 20% off any other purchases.

The Suite is has a privacy wall separating one queen bed from the living space. In the living space there is a second queen bed and a couch. An air mattress and/or pack-n-play can be added upon request. The suite has its own bathroom, with shower and tub, and a huge private deck overlooking the main downtown area of Bryson City.

The Mitchell Suite is in a great location allowing you to walk all of downtown Bryson city with ease. Right across the street from the railroad, but not loud at all. The space was clean and the bed and linens were good quality and comfortable.

I was in a great location everything was around it. Love the perk of going downstairs and getting coffee and a muffin during our stay. Theirs is not a kitchenette, but there is a mini fridge and a tiny microwave, which is convenient overall very nice clean and located in the heart of the town.

Host provided update to check-in process which were very thorough. The location is in the middle of everything and was perfect. It was located right across the street from the train. We didnt realize there were two apartments and ours , the Mitchell suite, was located on the backside overlooking the parking lot. We didnt mind it at all, because we were out sightseeing. The apartment itself was very very clean, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed for our one night stay. Additionally, we were worried that by being in the middle of everything, it would be very noisy preventing us to sleep. That was not the case at all. We could hear the train, which was nice, but it was very quiet inside and we slept very well. We will definitely stay here again on future trips to Bryson.

Stairs were steep and couldn’t lug my suitcase. Otherwise the apt was wonderful - large, very well equipped and the mountains and sunset were a magnificent view from the balcony though you had to ignore the huge parking lot and garbage cans.

My second stay in the Mitchell Suite. Every bit as good as, if not better than, the last visit. I had a bit more time to explore the town this time. Great restaurants, shops, ice cream.I stay here when fishing in the area. The suite is, literally, next door to the best river float fishing guide in the area (Bryson City Fly Shop). So I walked next store, with my free morning La Dolce coffee in hand, and hopped in the guide’s truck!Of course the Mitchell Suite was excellent. Very clean and comfortable. Great wi-fi. Beds were comfortable, less than a block to smokey mountain railroad depot & many restaurants. Mitchell suites patio opens over Railroad parking. You do hear some street noise but it gets quieter as evening progresses. Suite is nice sized & true to description. There are stairs since you are on second floor but they are inside & well lite. Parking area is well lite as well & does shine in through window coverings in livingroom area. We'd stay here again when we're next in area.

The apartment was really clean at check in. It’s cute and close to everything in town. We were easily able to walk everywhere we needed to go. The cafe below the apartment is really good. I had a question before arrival. It was answered quickly and effectively. We would stay here again.

Great property for our quick getaway to Bryson City. Dolce has great coffee and food. Much more comfortable than a standard hotel room. For clarification there are two suites above Dolce: Mitchell and Everett. Everett suite is above the front of Dolce facing Everett St and Mitchell is the back of second floor facing the train visitor parking lot facing west.

Great Location

We came into town for the July 4th celebration, so we wanted to be in walking distance from town. This place is ideal, you are in town. It had everything we needed. We have been to the Fourth of July celebration for a few years here, best stay yet. Also, you are not too far from the Smokies for hiking. It is not too far at all for rafting and horseback riding. We did both. Of course, train ride across the street, but we have done it before and did not ride this time. Highly recommend to stay here.(Cannot complain about coffee shop and bakery downstairs )

Excellent!

A hidden gem right in the middle of town. The Mitchell Suite is exactly as described in the listing. Super clean, comfortable, and convenient. Private parking right by the entrance door. The balcony/deck (with table, umbrella, and chairs) overlooks the railroad and Mitchell Street. I drank my free morning fresh-roasted (delicious) coffee and free fresh-baked muffin from the cafe downstairs on the deck. Delightful! Definitely going to stay here again on return visits to the area!

We loved being able to see the shops and town without getting in the car. The accommodations themselves were very nice. I would much rather stay here than any hotel I drove by in town.
