Another fantastic stay in this lovely family lodge! The weather cooperated a bit better this year so we got (and enjoyed) more time by and on the lake. Still made time for a competitive mini-golf game and some trips to the local market for corn and eggs. A wonderful, multi-generational retreat!

Wonder amenities with a fully stocked kitchen with everything we needed. Loved having air conditioners in every bedroom and the main living space. Loved the screened in porches on both sides of the house. Loved the area in and all around the water.

Great house for a group!

We had a great stay at this house. Even with four families we still had plenty of room. The best part was the amount of activities provided for the lake such as kayaks, paddle boards and inflatables. The owners were always quick to answer questions and when we had an issue with the hot water the property manager was on site within hours. Overall a great experience!

Great week! Everything we needed! Great dock, float and kyaks and boards! Giant tables for all of us

Wonderfully relaxing right there in big screened porch. With mini golf, hiking and beach within reach! Cellar with ping pong, fooze ball and washer/dryer!! Everything we needed and more!! Amazing new kitchen dining space fully stocked and lots if bedrooms!! Thanks Baldwin Lodge!

Every summer we do a big family vacation, all three generations get together. Baldwin Lodge has been the best one so far! The house is beautiful and easily accommodated our large group. The lake was right across the street, and although it is a busier road and you do have to take precautions, I would not say it negatively impacted our stay in any way. It was so nice to wake up and just walk across to the lake! The lake is warm and crystal clear, the beach is clean with virtually no bugs, and there are so many kayaks and paddleboards to keep everyone occupied. The dock is an amazing spot to relax, and the floating dock was so fun to jump off. The lake access is private, and there's no boat traffic close to it, so you can swim and paddleboard without worrying. The host is so friendly and accommodating, she got back to us almost immediately about any questions/concerns. Expectations of the house are extremely reasonable, nothing nit-picky. Overall, this entire vacation was incredibly relaxing and an absolute blast! I would definitely recommend Baldwin Lodge, we're already looking into booking it again next year!

fantastic family get-away!

The house was a great spot for our three-generational group. The location -- across from the private lakefront and a short walk into "town" -- was perfect, and the inside of the house offered multiple gathering places for different age and interest groups. As it was mostly gray and cloudy during our stay, the basement foosball and ping-pong were lifesavers; the kids just retreated down there and came up only for food. Jennie was responsive and helpful and the house was just as expected -- an old family treasure.

Baldwin Lodge

This is the second year we have stayed at the Baldwin Lodge and ww were very happy with everything. The owners were friendly and thorough with communications and the property fitted our needs perfectly with10 of us ranging in age from 4 to 70. The large kitchen and dining table easily accommodated everyone plus guests as did the porch table. The waterfront was clean, private and loaded with toys. I highly recommend it.

Charming house, perfect for large families

Perfect house and lakefront for our extended family! The one and only downside was the road we needed to cross to get to the lake. Although speed limit is posted 25 mph, cars drove way too fast and most did not stop to let us cross. With that said, the property was perfect. Plenty of space for all. We could all gather around the large dining table and back porch table. The lake was beautiful! We made use of kayaks, paddle boards, and row boat. We also enjoyed the campfire in the evenings. Definitely a memorable trip!

Family Vacation

There was plenty of room for all 13 of us. Everyone loved the dock, paddleboarding and kayaking. We did have one incident before some of the group was leaving on Friday night as our daughter's foot went thru a soft board at the top of the ramp by the back door while she was holding it open for her kids to carry out stuff to put in the car. She reported it to the property manager, but don't know yet if she heard back. She wasn't hurt, but wanted to make them aware of it for future renters. All of us LOVED the accommodations and said they'd like to have another vacation there!! (The warnings about the busy road you have to cross are VERY accurate....not crazy about that hazard) The porches and large tables were great for our large group. Many memories made!!

Property was dirty especially the kitchen. House was musty

Sebago Lake house 1. No hot water / tried to fix. The maintenance man came out to shut off the water to the secondary water heater. Had limited hot water for 10 people 2. Kitchen stove dirty / microwave filthy / cleaned Dishwasher dirty and unusable. 3. Used filter water button in refrigerator/ leaked underneath. Cleaned leak but happened again. Called maintenance man he came back and fixed the water line behind the fridge and the additional water heater downstairs. 4. What we rented it for, handicap assessable worked great. 5. Dock and lake was great and fun.

Did Not Disappoint

The house was as described -- and more! Plenty of space for our four families, ranging in age from 13 - 82! Having 4 bathrooms was a nice bonus! The kitchen was perfect to have large meals with everyone, and the front porch was perfect for morning coffee, reading, and just relaxing. The lakefront was awesome - we made great use of the kayaks, paddle boards, and docks. The lake water was so clear and a nice temperature to enjoy swimming and floating on the rafts we had brought with us. The communication with the owner was great - before and during our arrival. Would highly recommend this house! You will not be disappointed.

Amazing House!!

We were PLEASANTLY surprised by this house! It was really the only one available last season big enough to fit all of us on a lake. We were not expecting much, just happy to have the week off together. We were blown away!! This house is much bigger than it appears in pictures. Plenty of space for all and the lake access is perfection!!! We will most definitely be back!!!

Lost Opportunity

The area on the lake was wonderful. The accommodations were not. The house was well equipped but it was dirty when we arrived. The kitchen had not been swept and the walls in the living room and upstairs were dirty enough to leave streaks when you touched them to turn on the lights. In this Covid age, the cleanliness was not up to par. The back ramp was rotting and a family member went thru the boards to their hip. Owners were not responsive to the urgency of the situation and getting the repairs completed quickly. Overall, the vacation was not what we expected for the price.

I’m sorry that the accommodations were not met to your satisfaction. And with all due respect, I would strongly disagree with your assessment of the week from our perspective. The home was professionally cleaned as always, two contractors were contacted to resolve the issues involving the ramp, and I have to say we were alarmed at the number of vehicles and families that we discovered were at our camp contrary to the contract. Nevertheless, we appreciate the feedback and Good luck always.

Comfortable in a beautiful location!

Comfortable and roomy accommodations in a beautiful and private setting. Great for a larger group or family. We enjoyed the beautiful sunrise and sunsets from the dock each day. Hosts were so helpful and responsive. Hope to stay there again sometime.

Perfect Lake Getaway

Exactly what we were looking for. House can comfortably sleep 14-15 people and never feel cramped. Very clean upon arrival. Kitchen well stocked with all the pots/plates/ cups/ utensils you could ask for. Walking distance to Marina where we rented a pontoon for a day. Highly recommend! Also only few blocks from nice bar/ restaurant and great corner store. You do need to cross the road to get to the lakefront, but we saw very few cars. Big private lakefront area was perfect for hours and hours of hanging out and sitting around the fire. So quiet and peaceful. One of our best family vacations!

Four thumbs up to Baldwin Lodge

We couldn't be happier with our stay. Cindy, the owner, was very pleasant to work with and the lodge was perfect for our needs. The kitchen was well stocked with spices, pots and pans and everything we needed for cooking. The property was immaculate and came with lots of water toys, life jackets, wood for fires and a box of disinfecting materials as well as a jar of the most delicious wild raspberry jam. Both the lodge and waterfront area provided privacy and we really appreciated the large tables in the kitchen and porch area for sitting the entire family at one time. The bedrooms were spacious compared to other places we have stayed and comfortably accommodate the occupancy they advertise. The newer section included the kitchen area and it was nicely updated while the older section provided more of a cottage feel which we really enjoyed. It was perfect for our large family reunion/vacation.

Perfect set up for our wedding weekend!

My husband and I got married at Sebago Lake this past weekend. We wanted to spend as much time as possible with our friends and family that had made the long trip up to the area to celebrate with us, so we booked this house to serve as lodging for ourselves as well as many of our guests. The house is uniquely located so that it's near others in the community with close access to the marina and local restaurants, but also secluded enough to give you great privacy and quiet. Located right across the road from the lake with no other properties in between, it has its own private lakefront area with both anchored and floating docks. The newly renovated large kitchen area was perfect for a bustling wedding-prep central. Fully stocked, it felt like we weren't away from home at all and had everything we needed. The spacious five bedrooms can sleep 16 comfortably, and up to 19 if necessary. The two large bathrooms accommodated the high guest count perfectly. The private screened-in porch at the back of the house was a great place for us all to stay up way too late, and spend great quality time together. On the wedding day, my photographer loved some of the vintage details in the main bedroom where we got ready and the front porch so we ended up taking many of our wedding photos right there! The owner Cindy was immediately available for any questions we had and responded quickly. We couldn't be happier with our choice to make many of our wedding memories in this house and highly recommend it to anyone considering a vacation at beautiful Sebago Lake!

Perfect spot for families!

This home is a perfect blend of old & new. The original front porch, parlor & upstairs bedrooms has that down home camp feel that is so cozy. The newer, huge kitchen is awesome for everyone in the family to gather and cook, visit, play games, do crafts, all ages all together. The Lake is breathtaking with the most spectacular sunrise anywhere. Thank-you, Baldwin Family for sharing your home!
