Villa Kali Thea is a modern, beautifully maintained family villa with stunning mountain and sea views. It is located in a fantastic rural location next to a national park and a number of superb beaches. It has been individually designed and built by one of the best architects on Naxos and provides modern, light and airy accommodation sleeping 4/5 + a cot. The villa is our family holiday home and therefore we have thoughtfully furnished and equipped it for our own needs as well as that of our guests to provide a real 'home from home'. There are 2 ground floor bedrooms, 1 has a king-sized bed and spacious en-suite shower room, the other has twin beds. Both have air-conditioning, ceiling fans, built-in wardrobes/drawers and patio doors opening onto a terrace with ample space to sit or sunbathe. The upstairs open plan kitchen/dining/living area is a light, airy space with stunning mountain and sea views and a large balcony terrace. There is also a lower covered terrace and garden.


Our Local Agent: The rental rates include the following services of our local agent, an English lady who has lived on Naxos for many years. For a relaxing start to your holiday she can meet you at the port or airport on your arrival. She can help transfer you directly to the villa or, if you are hiring a car, she can help with the transfer of your luggage and accompany you to the villa. She will then familiarise you with the property and the surrounding area and act as an emergency contact for the duration of your stay. We can provide good maps / directions for independent travellers. Our agent can also help with the pre-booking of a hire car.

Great villa just 25 minutes from Naxos Town. The villa was well stocked with every day essentials that most rentals don't provide.Jackie, the local host, is fantastic! She provides great insight and helps make settling in, a breeze. Also all of her recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants were perfect!We really enjoyed how close we were to the beach and several local restaurants. The villa was very comfortable both inside and out. Both balconies were great. One for the morning sun and the other for afternoon shade. Would highly recommend this villa to all! Yamas!

Very nice house, well equipped and with fantastic views

We stayed in April, when the island was green and fresh and full of flowers. We spent a lot of time walking around. The hiking trails were wonderful. We were picked up and given assistance when we had questions, such as which restaurants were open and which ones were recommended. The holiday was very relaxing and enjoyable for us, and we would come back anytime.

Lovely Alyko Villa

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Beautiful beaches a walk away and gorgeous mountains nearby. The house could not have been more comfortable with all the amenities we could need. Beautiful Relaxing Stay

Came here for 8 days with our kids who 2 and 6 months. We loved the home, both the indoor and outdoor spaces. It was easy to cook at home and eat out. Lovely house, great view and wonderful quiet location

Our family had a lovely stay here and Graham and Sarah provided all the information we needed and Julie really helped with all the rest, thank you to everyone who made our stay so great. We had a small problem with one of the beds but Graham and Srah were very helpful and accomodating which was much appreciated. I heartily recommend this place to stay in Naxos.

Peaceful, idyllic stay

This house was so peaceful and beautiful! Walking distance to a nearly empty beach with turquoise water and soft sand. The house itself is airy and light, and has so many areas for relaxing and enjoying the view of the mountains, the sea, and the local villas. Several awesome restaurants nearby. Both Julie and Jackie were so helpful and welcoming. We will certainly be back.

Lovely villa

Beautiful family villa , very clean and very well maintained. Only 10 min. to best beaches of Naxos. Two good tavernas with swimmigpool are only 5 min walk or by car. Wonderful vacation

We love the wind and waves on Naxos! The lovely house has sea views and terraces for sun and shade. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is equipped to cook meals and the nearby restaurants serve delicious food. Several beaches are within walking distance: one through the dunes and there you are! You can walk along the water's edge in one direction to reach other beautiful spots. In the opposite direction, you walk between dunes and gentle rocky slopes to come to more pristine beaches and coves. Julie was our helpful and friendly contact person. We hope to return!

Best holidays in my life

First of all, I was so pleased with my stay at villa kali thea in 2013 that I booked again in 2014. Very well furnished home ideally located 20 mn from plaka (white sandy beach with azur crystaline water) and 5 mn from aliko beach (ideal for snorkling). House is in perfect shape. No surprise with website pictures. Very convenient for family with kids. A/C in both bedrooms. Quiet neighborhood. Supermarket within 5mn driving range. Local contacts Barbara and Tony are very helpful.

Perfect in every way

We have just returned from our one week stay at this villa and it was superb. The location was excellent, the inside is beautifully finished and furnished with care and comfort in mind. The owner arranged for us to be met at the airport by his property manager who was most helpful. She arranged a rental car and led us to the villa. She even arranged for the small supermarket to open for us on the Easter Monday and later taught me how to clean the calamari I couldn't resist buying at the fish store in Naxos Town. We went hiking in the countryside every day after a beautiful breakfast on the patio upstairs. There are excellent tavernas nearby for times we didn't want to cook. Thank you for such a wonderful time.

Great time in Naxos

We are a family of four with two kids aged 13 and 10. We literally fell in love with the Villa. It is perfectly equipped, you feel like being at your home and It is located very close to Alyko beaches (sooo beautiful and protected from the wind when it is too strong) and to all other beautiful beaches of the south west of Naxos like the huge Plaka beach, the windy Mikri Vigla beach and others. It is also close by car (which is highly recommended in Naxos since it is so big) to the heart of Naxos with the villages of Halki, Apiranthos, Moni where we had great dinners in local tavernas and visited Venetian buildings, old Bizantine churches wondering among olive trees. A lovely cat named Sidney came around and became our pet for the whole stay. To sum up the Villa has it All and We Sincerely Hope to come back someday.

Perfection

We couldn’t have imagined any place better- seriously this home was perfect for our once-in-a-lifetime visit to Naxos. We live in a resort and wanted a quiet place to create memories as this was our honeymoon (family moon) after being postponed for 2 years due to COVID. We were also celebrating our daughter’s graduation and 21st birthday. We were greeted by Julie - who was fantastic throughout the trip and welcomed with a sweet note and bottle of champagne from the owners. The property is picturesque and close to beautiful beaches. Rent a car. I suggest getting clear directions or doing some pre-planning using Google maps. Because many signs are in Greek and look similar, we struggled a bit to find our way places. Our stay was during the last week of May. The beaches were pretty empty and the weather was perfect. The water was a bit chilly but refreshing. Bring goggles and binoculars to see the magnificent scenery above and below water. Make sure your sunblock is reef friendly and purchased before you arrive on the island (it’s pricey). The house has everything to cook and good restaurants nearby. I highly recommend this stay.

July 2008 Holiday

We spent 10 days here in July 2008. It’s a well appointed modern villa in a lovely peaceful location with great views, which was ideal for our family holiday. We were only the second people to stay in the Villa. Thoughtfully furnished the villa provided everything we needed for a memorable holiday, a real home from home. The terrace and a balcony give the choice of lazing in the sun or relaxing in the shade. It was only a short walk to the local sandy beaches and even closer was the local Taverna with its own pool and sun deck which we found to be welcoming at all times of the day. We found a number of other excellent tavernas close to the villa and Naxos town was an easy 25 minute drive away which had a selection of both traditional Greek and International Bars and Restaurants. The main supermarkets were in Naxos town but we found the local Bakery and Mini-Markets, about 5 minutes away, sufficient for our day to day needs. We spent two memorable days exploring inland by Car and Quad bike which we would certainly recommend to others. The owners Graham and Sarah were most helpful with all queries and their local contact who met us at the Port was also a great help getting our holiday off to a great start with an easy transfer, advice on the local shops and places to visit. We would definitely recommend this villa and when we return to Naxos in the future would certainly try to stay here again.

Modern villa in a quiet neighbourhood

There was sufficient information from the owner and contact by e-mail in advance. They also took care of the pick-up and meeting point at the airport as a matter of course. They also managed the collection of our rental car, even though we had booked it ourselves. As a result, we were warmly welcomed at the airport in Naxos by the local contact person and while one person took care of the baggage, the other person was able to pick up the rental car and clarify everything with the car rental office. We were shown the villa and everything important was clarified. With a wealth of tips and information, the villa was then ours for the next few weeks. We have rarely experienced such an efficient start. The villa is located in a small area of holiday homes at the back and so far away from the road that you can't hear a thing. There are still a few houses nearby but at a good distance, behind the villa is a field and from the terrace on the upper floor you have a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and the sea. On a clear day, you can enjoy a fantastic view of the stars at night. And of course you can have breakfast in the sun in the morning - wonderful. The villa is modern and is kept in excellent condition. Everything is functional and very clean. The weekly cleaning also includes freshly made beds, towel change and a basic cleaning of the house - very pleasant. Full points for the hard-working cleaning lady for this too. We spent two wonderful weeks - Thank you!

We had a very lovely time in this house in Naxos. Communication with the owners upfront was excellent and very friendly. The house is exactly as it looks like on the pictures and as it is described. Would highly recommend it! Thanks for letting us stay in your home, Sarah and Graham!

We are an English couple who loved travelling for many years including hopping around the Greek Islands. However we continually found that we kept wanting to return to beautiful Naxos year on year hence our decision when our family came along to build our own Villa.

We have been travelling to Naxos for many years and loved the beaches and friendliness of the Naxian people. As we started our own family we decided to buy a plot of land and build our own Villa. By doing so we have been able to develop a property that is just perfect for us and indeed for our guests. It provides the perfect family home in the beautiful surroundings of the stunning Greek islands!

We have built the property to take advantage of the fantastic views to the local beaches and across the Aegean towards Santorini, Ios, Paros and the other local Cycladic Islands. Whilst in a small development of Villas the property retains its privacy and is safe for families to enjoy the local countryside.
