Enjoyable extended weekend vacation

Spacious and worked well for our family of all ages. For an older home it was very clean and everything we needed included. Steps from the beach that was convenient for us.

Was clean and functional

I was in love with this fenced in unit, It was perfect for the dogs!!! plenty of towels, and so close to the beach!! Made for a perfect vacation for me and my family.

Wonderful location

We really enjoyed our stay! It was very family friendly and the location was perfect. We had a small child and elderly with us and were able to easily come and go from the beach. The only thing I wish I knew was how well equipped the house was so that I didn’t pack as much as I did. We loved it and will be back!

We had a great time, the property was just as it was described, it was less than a minute walk to the beach, and I'm not a fast walker, it's a older property, but well maintained and decorated very cute! We had a great time there, and would recommend it to budget minded vacationers!

Great location!

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is right next to the Palm Pavillion, which is our favorite restaurant there. Also very close to our second favorite Frenchies. Everything is within walking distance. The beach is incredibly close. The house is old and could use updates, but other than that, it was good.

Old home with charm

House was a good location to the beach. Sad to see so many high rises going in & the old homes disappearing. This was an older home for sure, but had everything we needed.

It is an older property, but very well maintained and very spacious. About 10 steps from the front door and you are literally on beach sand. Will definitely stay here again. Love the fact that you can walk the beach or either the shopping strip. Its all in a comfortable walking distance.

Great location

We liked the location being so close to the beach and close to a restaurant and a gas station. Everything is within walking distance, even a big public pool. Would have liked extra locks on the two back doors that lead outside, but we didn’t have any issues. 3 beds and an additional pull out bed. Great customer service.

Awesome Location!

I loved my stay at Sandy Shores. The location is absolute perfection. Across the street from the Palm Inn Restaurant and steps from the beach which could not have been more convenient. From there it's just a five minute walk to the shops and restaurants of Clearwater beach. The place was much bigger than I thought and was presentable and comfortable. Allison from Belloise realty was also extremely helpful in the setup process. A 10/10 trip

Steps from the beach

We enjoyed that the beach was only a few steps away from this property. There was plenty of room and could have had more people stay there. We liked the bathroom, living space and kitchen. The beds were not to our liking and had difficulty sleeping. I would suggest investing in new beds for the property.

The Great, The Good, and The Surprise

The Great- the property is literally steps away from the beach. Our family of 6 loved being so close to the ocean. The Good- the house was very spacious and clean. Beds were super comfy! Kitchen had everything we needed too! The Surprise- we booked our stay through VRBO. Our paid receipt stated (adults, children, pets). The day of check in we get a call from Belloise Realty that our pets haven’t been accounted for, that we will be charged (and were) for them. The warning here, better check on your fees before (thinking it’s ALL PAID for.

Old house and furniture .Not facing beach like the pictures .

I was under the impression this property faced the beach not the street. Couches were old you could feel the springs had to put pillows to sit. Only one t.v. in the living room no T.P. had to buy some .

Location is the best part of this home.

Extremely unhappy with the management. There is a cabinet in the kitchen with a shelf. The shelf was missing a pin. We placed all of our alcohol on the shelf. It came crashing to the griound. In total-approx $150 loss. When I called and told them, did not care. Someone could have easily gotten seriously hurt. As it was we all stepped on glass the remainder of the trip. They expressed no remorse, whatsoever. We also had some difficulty with the code on the door; on the very first day. I asked them to send someone to change the code. They said they would send someone out. No one ever came! The people in the house next to us said their friends had the same problem. I do not like the non extension of sharing items between guests. We have stayed at several homes in Clearwater. It is always appreciated when there is extra toilet paper, paper towel, paper plates etc. People are generally inclined to pay it forward. I don't see the purpose of clearing everything out. Overall the entire experience left us with a bad taste in our mouths. As stated above, we have rented in Clearwater for the last ten years. With the exception of the location, this was a thumbs down.

Beach House

Registration was a breeze. Received numerous emails with information needed and information for us prior to check in. Check in was easy. Received email with the door code a few hours before check in time at 4pm. Once we arrived, it was as we expected. An average beach house that has seen a fair amount of use over the years. Nothing super nice, nothing super junky. If you’re going to Clearwater for a vacation, you’re not going there to stay inside, only need a place for your stuff. The place came with all needed dishes, single beach chair, several beach towels, some little kid beach toys, one beach umbrella. The A/C blew nice and cold. My only issue was with the hot water. It never stayed on. In one shower it would go from cold to hot 6 times in 10 minutes. Don’t know if it was an on demand tankless water heater or a very small water heater. I never saw it. One other issue was our rental was set up through Verbo. It asked if we had a dog, which I marked yes. Verbo did not charge the pet fee and I received a phone call after check out asking if we had a dog. I said I marked yes on Verbo when the reservation was made. The manager an apologized and said that they haven’t been able to figure out how to get Verbo to charge the pet fee, so they would have to charge me the fee themselves. Easily walking distance to all the downtown attractions. Exit the front door, turn right and walk 30 steps and you’re on the beach. We will stay here again.

Great house for a bargain!

Upon arrival the unit was very clean, the AC was kicking and the view of the beach was inviting. Note: There is a very tall building up next to the house now but you can still see the beach from the porch. This home is a bit ot dated and certainly has its quirks but nothing we weren't happy to deal with for the ease of beach access and FREE PARKING. The rooms are fairly large with plenty of sleeping room for all. The one TV is in the living room and is a Roku TV ready for you to log in to all of your streaming services. My kids weren't super happy about having only one TV but I was. 😂 Door has a keycode access which died on our second night (of 9) at about 10:30 PM on a Saturday. It was easy to reach the after hours emergency staff and after a bit they were able to reach a maintenance person to come let us in and change the battery. Not an ideal situation but the office handled it wonderfully. Speaking of locks, would like to see a chain or hotel style lock on all 3 doors in the future. There is an outside shower conveniently located near the back door for was rinse off. This was our first time in Clearwater and we seriously struggled to find parking (even paid) anywhere so we were extra grateful for the close proximity to the beach and being in walking distance to a few great restaurants. (Our favorites were Frnchies Rockaway Grill and Jimmy Hulas.) There was not one day of our trip we didn't walk the half Coty block to the beach! The kitchen is stocked with nearly any small appliance you can think of (except a dishwasher.) There also is an on demand water heater and washer and dryer. If you're able to look past a few vanity issues and want to be almost as close as possible to the beach, I would highly recommend Sandy Shores 2.

OK for a short trip

The house was clean inside but the property outside was covered with garbage, there's a big hole in the bathroom next to the tub that was barely covered by sheet flooring. We were un aware that there is a huge complex that blocks the view of the beach now so pictures should be updated. Overall it was close so that was good with the family but wouldn't have stayed more than 3 days.

Excellent Location!

This place is a great little place on a budget. The location is just steps from the beach and away from all the noise and commotion of main st. but still within walking distance of everything. If your looking for luxury this isn’t the place for you but if your looking for a place to relax and enjoy the beach then I would definitely recommend this place. Would give a 5 but the place could use a coat of paint. Would definitely return and stay again

Great location!

The location was perfect especially if you are traveling with children its a 30 seconds from the beach. Restaurants nearby have great food. House was clean. Pretty old you can tell the floor is starting to drop in certain spots of the house. There were some small bugs on the floor not sure what that was from but that was on our last night so didn't bother us too much. Everything worked as it should. There were some beach towels, toys, chairs provided so that was awesome.
