Whether in the area for a short or extended stay this is a great alternative to a typical hotel room. This second-floor spacious room has its' own private bathroom. The room features a queen size bed with a comfort mattress, a 12-drawer dresser, an antique armoire, two nightstands, a pair of Victorian style sitting chairs, an overhead ceiling fan and a new 43â Samsung smart television. You will have access to the common areas of the home for added comfort.
When you stay here you will feel like you are stepping back in time, yet you will have all of todayâs modern conveniences. Experience staying in a bed and breakfast that boasts the craftsmanship of another era. Enjoy access to the main living rooms, multiple dining areas, a beautiful veranda area for relaxing, a fully equipped kitchen and coin operated laundry facilities.
Complimentary coffee, tea & water is available during your stay 24/7 in our main dining room. We offer daily a complimentary continental breakfast to help you start your day. The breakfast includes eggs, yogurts, cereals, fresh breakfast breads & jams, fresh fruits, milk, juices and assorted coffees & teas. The continental breakfast is available between 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
The guesthouse is on a remote activated keyless system. Once your reservation is confirmed you will be able to access the property on the day of your arrival on your own and at your convenience. Each private room is accessed via a keyless system as well.

This is my hometown and I have many good memories of my childhood here. In fact, I remember trick-or-treating at this house as a child and wondering about the family who was fortunate to call it home. This home sat empty for many years and in 2003, I returned and purchased it as a place to spend my retirement years. As the years passed, my retirement plans changed; thus, in 2020, the home was converted to The Victorian Guesthouse Bed & Breakfast. It is gratifying as the home now has renewed life and purpose. Though I no longer reside onsite, it will always be 'home' to me.

The guesthouse is located in a quiet residential area of Delphos and is two blocks from our Main Street, the town is easily walkable. While you are here consider a walking tour of Delphos' Historic Homes, utilizing the Canal Museum's free self guided map. We have a many beautiful, historic homes here to see!

Everyone is mesmerized by the detail and craftsmanship of turn of the century Victorian homes, especially the Queen Anne versions, of the late 1800's and early 1900's. Every period detail appears to be a craftsman's 'labor of love.' This home will not disappoint!
My staff prides itself on the cleanliness of our establishment. Since our opening, we have achieved the highest guest ratings for cleanliness and overall property ratings on both Airbnb & Bookings.com in the Lima/Delphos/Van Wert area! We are new to VRBO and hope to achieve the same high ratings here as well.
