Thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely review. I am happy to hear that you enjoyed the Lake Home especially all the major upgrades. The kitchen and dining areas were totally remodeled this winter. This is now an open layout with custom cabinets, all new appliances, and a gorgeous view of the lake. The addition of air conditioning is another favorite for sure. Fishing is always fun on Lake Victoria. Thank you and come again.

Thank you so much for your review. One of my favorite parts of being a VRBO host is meeting such wonderful guests like you and your family! The remodel kitchen is enjoyed by all. People especially like the spaciousness and lake views. The three decks on different levels allow for outdoor dining, conversations, games, reading, and offer wooded private views of the lake. Shhh … keep the good fishing a secret :-)

The remodeled kitchen has been a design success with its spacious and gorgeous views of the lake, all new appliances, beverage fridge, hood vent, and plenty of seating and cabinet storage. Dear unhappy in-law, I enjoyed meeting and getting to know everyone in your family reunion group over the years. I think that it is very special for adult siblings and their families to make it a priority to vacation together every summer. I’m glad it gave you “a ton of great memories”! Thank you for the comments that the lake home is spacious with a beautiful view. However, there are gross inaccuracies within this review. First and most importantly, safety is always my major priority. All areas inside and outside of the home are carefully inspected weekly. My talented handyman Don readily responds to all repair calls. I did NOT receive a call from anyone in your party regarding any issues during your 19 years. I’m quite befuddled that you shared your worries in a review rather than direct communication. Simply put, we can’t fix what we don’t know. The lake home cedar deck has ALWAYS BEEN SAFE. The deck structure has been inspected by a licensed carpenter preseason and regularly throughout the summer. Several years ago, a new bigger deck was built using premium Trex composite decking. The lake view from the deck is gorgeous! Another concern that you mentioned is the waterfront and beach area. This has been fixed. Professional landscapers added lakeshore rocks, installed drainage pipes, and a berm to protect the beach and lawn from major storm runoff. By the way, my neighbor is the nicest neighbor a person can ask for! He has invited many of my guests to enjoy his lakefront. Future guests, please check back!
