Gather together! That's what we love to do here at our home on the Cape.

Coming from a large family, and having a large family ourselves – we purchased our Cape home with the anticipation of having a place that we could easily gather together with our extended family and several kids to laugh, talk, and make wonderful memories. We say that each summer has a story - come write yours with us!

Step into a spacious retreat with soaring 34' ceilings and wide open spaces. Bright & sunny home built in 2019 with the mindset of coastal living. Open the multiple doors to allow the warm cape breeze to flow through. The open floor plan on the main level boasts two living room areas, ample space to entertain large groups or for all to relax and watch a movie together - featuring new and beautiful plush furnishings from Room & Board, Crate & Barrel, and Pottery Barn. The beautiful chef's kitchen with a 6 burner stove, griddle, and 2 ovens make home cooked meals for big groups a breeze. Want to grill? No problem, there is a grill on the patio outside. Not pictured, but also included is a patio table with seating for 6 as well as the 10 Adirondack chairs you see included in the patio pictures.

What might it be like if you stayed at our home?

Sit on the deck in the early morning hours with coffee in hand while you enjoy the quiet oasis of verdant gardens and a stunning arboretum. This home feels very secluded yet is central to everything you could want.

During the day, take a quick 2 min drive (or 10 min stroll) to the beach. We have ample chairs and beach towels provided. In terms of entertainment there is plenty of nearby things to do for adults, teens, and younger kids alike. We know if you're reading this, you're probably one of the organizers and can't rest easy unless everyone is taken care of and has something to do. Nearby entertainment includes paddle boarding, kayaking, and renting bikes. There are several golf courses within a quick 10-15 minute drive. Or try your hand at deep sea fishing. Our teens enjoyed being sent off on a fishing excursion (though they had never fished before) - our teen son and his buddies were super excited to bring home a massive load of fish to cook up that evening. It was the highlight of their visit that particular summer. To this day they still talk about the fish they caught - the fish which have gotten bigger at every re-telling of the story. All of our kids (boys and girls) and their friends enjoyed paddle boarding and kayaking, not to mention just going to the beach and hanging out. Perhaps take a ferry to Martha's Vineyard? In the mood for shopping? Take a quick 10 minute drive to the numerous shops and restaurants in the area. Or just curl up with a good book in our beautiful home while everyone is away doing their own thing.

Don't want to venture off the property? The basement is an oasis of fun and games (see a few paragraphs below), not to mention we sit on an acre and half lot. So lots of room for outdoor fun from a game of flag football to kicking the soccer ball around.

In the evening our chef's kitchen is a natural gathering place for preparing today's catch from the sea or making mojitos using the fresh mint growing outside on the terrace. Seating at meal time is never an issue, as the dining table easily seats 14 adults (16 if you squeeze in) and the extra large island seats another 4 (5 if you again squeeze in)! At the end of the night, we love to use the fire pit to roast marshmallows and make smores with all of the kids. Don't be surprised if you're visited by a family of wild turkeys on the lawn or see a fox trotting through.

The basement is perfect kid (or adult) entertainment in the late evening or on a rainy day - with a pool table, ping pong, foosball, bubble hockey, corn hole, giant connect four game, several sitting areas to play poker or engage in the one of the 40+ boardgames (Monopoly, Clue, Apples to Apples, Ticket to Ride, Pictionary, Haunted House on the Hill, Throw Throw the Burrito, Exploding Kittens, and many more) we have!

At end of the day retreat into your own private spacious bedroom complete with large ensuite bathroom, while the kids share a 6-person bunk bedroom... We are not a big screen family and while we have very good WiFi connection at the house, we believe in the importance of disconnecting so you will find a TV in the common areas of the house but generally not in the bedrooms.

Please note that there is a small unfinished pool house on the property - this is not for rent as it used for storage. Please also note, there are exterior security cameras on the house that monitor the entrances to the house, front yard, driveway, and pool house area.
