The Space:

Our casita studio offers a comfortable stay with a range of amenities, including a fully stocked kitchenette, air conditioning, a ceiling fan, internet access, and a SmartTV with Netflix (note: no cable service is provided). We also supply essential toiletries such as toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for your convenience.



Please be mindful of electricity usage, as it is costly in Puerto Rico. Ensure the air conditioners are turned off when the bedrooms are not in use. Additionally, keep windows and doors closed while the air conditioning is running to prevent humidity from overworking the units, which could lead to mechanical issues during your stay.



We kindly ask that wet towels not be placed on furniture. Should you encounter any issues during your visit, please inform us promptly so we can address them as quickly as possible. Thank you!



Guest Access:

Access controlled at the guardhouse for all residents and visitors. The Beach Gate operates between 5 am and 9 pm, after which the area is locked. The unit in the second floor, requires guests to climb eight steps.



The property features an electric lock, and assistance is available by phone for any questions or maintenance needs. For grocery shopping, the 24/7 Walmart Supercenter in Humacao is the most convenient option en route from the airport.



A rental car is strongly recommended for getting around. If you choose not to rent a car, flat-rate taxis from the airport to Humacao cost between $90-110, with potential surcharges for luggage, nighttime service (10 pm - 6 am), tolls, or groups of more than five passengers. Always confirm the fare with the taxi dispatcher and request a receipt before starting your trip. Tipping is discretionary but typically around 10%. Note that Uber services are unreliable on the island, reinforcing the recommendation to rent a car.



Other Things to Note:

Security Deposit Policy: To ensure the care of our property, a $200 refundable security deposit is required for all stays. By confirming your reservation, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:



- Payment Process: A team member will contact you after booking confirmation to arrange payment, typically one day prior to your arrival.



- Requirement: This deposit must be settled before check-in. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of your reservation in accordance with our cancellation policy in agreedment with Airbnb.



- Refund Policy: The full deposit will be refunded within 7 to 14 business days after check-out, provided no damages or rule violations occur.



- Deductions: In the event of damage or necessary incidentals, you will receive a summary of deductions along with the remaining balance.
