Awesome getaway for a weekend or longer as it had all the necessary amenities for an extended stay. The middle room did not have air conditioning but didnt get too hot for us to sleep in.

Cabin was absolutely perfect for our family! The small beach is great for big and little kids. Loved having the kayaks available as well! Dawn and Mike were fantastic hosts and they have thought of all the little things you need while away from home! They are so quick with responses and I would definitely book here again! Enjoy!!!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dawn and Mike's home. The home was clean and well appointed. We have 4 young children who LOVED the proximity to the water and the beach area. The lake itself was quiet and beautiful. The house was close to a grocery store, restaurants and coffee shops, but still felt like it was "tucked away." We would definitely stay here again!

Had the most amazing stay here for my annual mother-daughter lake vacation. At home now wishing it wasn’t over. The house was so perfect and was the most well-stocked of anywhere I’ve ever stayed, from toilet paper to sun screen and bug spray. The lake views were gorgeous, and we loved going for daily floats, listening to the loons, and just taking in the peaceful surroundings. Would recommend this rental to anyone, hope to return again in the future.

A wonderful stay...

Dawn and Michael have made this summer home very comfortable. The beds/bedding were great quality which made for a good nights sleep. The kitchen was well stocked and the livingroom very cozy. The view of the lake was unforgetable...

This house had more fun things to do inside and conveniently outside than we had seen before. The kitchen was very well equipped and we were very happy to see the electric kettle. We had a great time and would recommend this rental to anyone.

This was the perfect spot for our family to relax and unwind for a week. The view of the lake was spectacular! The house had all the comforts of home. We enjoyed the kayaks, floating in the lake and s'mores over the fire pit. The location is great- you're close to Center Harbor, Meredith and Laconia. We would highly recommend it and hope to back again ourselves.

Time with family

Great little cabin with everything you need that will make you feel right at home. Easy access to all there is to do in the Lakes Region. Short ride to Center Harbor and Meredith that offer numerous dining options. We'll be back again.

Beautiful home

The rental was meticulously neat and had every accommodation you'd need in terms of a home away from home. Not too private as it's part of an association however we really enjoyed it and he neighbors were all so kind

My family has been renting homes on Lake Kanasatka for over a dozen years, and this house is by far the most beautiful, comfortable, and well-equipped we’ve stayed in. We love to cook, and the kitchen had everything we could possibly need and then some.The beds were incredibly comfortable (which was a first in all out years of renting), as were the multiple seating areas throughout the home. The views from the kitchen and living room were absolutely spectacular. The location is ideal, tucked away enough to feel peaceful and secluded, yet close to shops, restaurants, and outdoor activities in the Lakes Region.

Great stay

We had a great time at the house. Fit 6 of us comfortably. Communication from the host was great. There was a little confusion because the listing didn’t state that they do not provide bed linens or towels, but we worked out a quick solution with them. Lake was clean and clear and the porch was a favorite for us all! Lots of nice touches around the house and plenty of games and books for everyone to enjoy! Thanks for a great stay!

Relaxing and fun lake retreat

I really wanted to write a review for this property, because I usually don’t reserve places that have no reviews, and only booked the property after talking with the owners (the other review showed up after I booked it). I completely agree that the house is immaculate, well-laid out and that there were plenty of things to enjoy with a family of five with multi-aged children. This lake is more serene than Winni but lively enough for the kids to waterski and tube (almost no other boat traffic). We were excited to pop our boat in and use the house’s private dock (the boat ramp is not too far away). Looking at the posted photos - everything in the main picture with the kayaks is all part of the house property, including a lawn for yard games, and walk in lake access, which is adjacent to a sandy “private association” beach (only a few houses) and we only saw one other family on the beach while we were there. The entry to the lake is shallow and easy for small kids. I found several relaxing spots for my morning coffee, to listen to the loons and enjoying downtime with a book. The owners are super helpful and kind. We will definitely be back!

The property was perfect for our family. The house was extremely clean, comfortable and welcoming. It had everything you would need for a week away with family. The lake was outstanding. Quite relaxing and slow paced, just what we were looking for. We will be back.

Beautiful property with lake out your door. Cottage was awesome. Tastefully decorated with so much thought put into everything. Sunroom was the best! Nice to take in sounds of birds and surroundings. Kitchen and livingroom had everything. Spices, coffee, cups, pans, dishes and the list goes on. Beds were very comfortable. Bunk room could sleep 6 with bathroom too. Kayaks were our favorite as lake is so pretty with mountains in background. Also swam to docks and used inflatables and life vests. Owners were extremely responsive. Highly recommend!
