Loved the condo!!!

Thank you for letting us vacation in your beautiful condo for the past month. We found it very clean, spacious, with a nice view to the ocean and the field. Management and staff was very pleasant and always there for us. It was nice to be so close to the ocean so we could walk the beach every day. We hope to return again next year. Wonderful! A little piece of tranquility and paradise

The apartment at Cabarete Town House is very large, with huge living areas and kitchen, 2 nice balconies (one out of the living room and one out of the master bedroom - from which you have a wonderful ocean view to wake up to). The bedrooms are big, each with large closets and nice in-room bathrooms. The whole place was very clean, and small issues were solved immediately through fast communication and intervention of Fabio and the rest of the staff in loco. Everyone on site was very helpful. It is useful if you speak a little Spanish. The place is literally around the corner from a non-touristy, isolated and peaceful beach, where swimming is not recommended as the waves can be rough (at least they were in January), but my kids had fun jumping waves and playing in the sand. If you like photography or drawing, these scenarios will be very inspiring! You will fall asleep and wake up to the sound of ocean waves and roosters, sometimes the caretaker sweeping leaves down the driveway..The communal pool and Jacuzzi were nice, although the Jacuzzi's jets do not work and the water is NOT heated (which seems common in the whole country as electricity is expensive and the weather always warm). The adjacent restaurant just reopened (as it was closed for a while when we arrived) and it has absolutly wonderful food, nice and cozy ambience and friendly staff (name is Kathmandu). Nearby there are a few 'colmados' (small stores where you can buy fairly cheap essentials from the locals), but the supermarket is about 25/30 min walk (on a very dangerous road with no sidewalks and crazy drivers going around), but adults can walk it no problem being careful, just I could not take my kids more than 2-300 meters down the road. There are a couple of more nice on-the-beach bars/restaurants walking distance with reasonable prices. For Cabarete downtown and any other place you would need to take a guagua (small busy buses where you will literally sit on other people's lap! but it is worth the experience and we took it daily, with kids, who had a blast in it..). The only 2 things I would improve are: the lack of sufficient kitchenware and microwave (if you plan on cooking full meals every day for 4 or more people it will be challenging but possible), and the wifi quality: we had to go downtown almost every day as we work remotely and it was not reliable nor stable. Overall we had a great time and we recommend this to anyone looking for a pieceful gateway.

Beau mais mal équipé

Beau condo qui fait l’envie, propre et bien aéré, beaucoup de fenêtres et 3 balcons! Mais décevant de devoir demander des articles qui auraient dû être déjà fournis, surtout dans la cuisine. Lave-vaisselle inutile (même pas assez de vaisselle et d’ustensiles pour l’emplir à moitié !) et pas de lave-linge qui aurait été bien plus utile car pas de buanderie accessible, on doit laver nos vêtements à la main. L’internet pas assez fort et en panne régulièrement. La piscine est bien acceptable. Plutôt bruyant, parfois même la nuit. Un peu trop loin du centre-ville, nécessitant un moyen de transport ou accepter de marcher dangereusement par la route. Heureusement durant le jour on peut s’y rendre par la belle plage qui est tout près du condo. À 5 minutes de marche du bon restaurant Martini’s. En résumé, pas que du négatif mais je n’y reviendrai plus à moins d’être bien mal pris.

Not a very good experience ,will not return

Too many problems regarding the maintenance of the condo, very poor management, billing us the electric bill belonging to the previous tenant. No wifi for 4days, pool water cloudy.

Excellent!!!

Absolutely an amazing place. The service from the staff was above and beyond. Don't forget to eat at El Chivo Restaurant. Delicious!!!

A month in the sun !!!

This condo is very nice (2 bdrm, 3 bath) The staff on site were happy, and very accommodating. The check in and check out was very straight forward. Knowing a little more Spanish would be helpful as most staff, except the office, speak little to no English. It is about a 20 minute walk to Cabarete Beach Town and Grocery Store but the smaller local stores have almost everything you might need. It is about half a block walk to the beach, with beautiful views of the ocean, especially from the upper, bedroom balcony !!! Yes, we would book again if we were to return. Would have liked more information of what was there and what we needed to bring, before, but we managed to get most of the things we asked for.

Great Location

Location is perfectly convenient adjacent to beach, restaurants, and grocery store. A quiet place, and a nice site with many palm trees and a large pool. Rooms are large and comfortable. There is a 24-hour guard so we feel secured. I recommend this place.
