The condo unit is terrific. It was clean, comfortable, well furnished and equipped, and the location is very good. The proximity to the beach and pools is terrific. It is in a nice quiet area with other amenities close by. The staff is courteous and helpful. Jason was very responsive and helpful. However, the parking is difficult unless the guest has a very small vehicle.

Good stay overall, but two things worth sharing.1. Undisclosed pool closure. The kids’ pool, the closest one to our room and a big deal for our family of four, closed a day or two after we arrived. Property staff confirmed the closure had been planned for “quite a while,” yet it was labeled “emergency maintenance” on-site. It wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the host’s VRBO listing or on the property website. When we raised it, we were essentially told that the listing says the host takes no responsibility.The closure really took away from our trip, not just the missing pool but the noise and eyesore of the work as well. No one would take responsibility for knowing about it in advance, and the only accommodation offered was a 100 credit toward lunch. Buyer beware.2. Room assignment is a crapshoot. As other reviewers have noted, getting a good room is hit or miss. We were placed in an ocean-view unit in the farthest building from everything. My advice: call early and give a reason for your request to improve your odds of getting a good room.

Great Vacation at Ko'Olina Marriott

Our two bedroom/2 bath villa was more than enough space for our family. The kitchen was a plus! Beautiful views of the ocean from our deck!! The property manager was amazing from start to finish, making sure check-in and check-out were as simple as possible. We will definately be back!!

This was a great place to stay with my parents over the holidays. The man-made lagoon is lovely and not too busy, so we were always able to find a good spot to sit on the beach. We were pleasantly surprised by Longhi's restaurant, where we ended up having breakfast every day plus a few other meals. The resort has a lovely little luau on Tuesdays that highlights various Polynesian cultures, and you can walk along the beach to the other lagoons to visit the other resorts if you want to try their restaurants.It wasn't totally clear at first that we were booking through a timeshare program rather than booking a specific condo unit. This caused some confusion when when I tried to speak with the concierge in advance, but it all worked out easily enough in the end.

Amazing stay

We had a lovely stay here. We stayed for a week and Jason helped us find the exact dates. He was very quick to respond and easy to communicate with. He also gave us nice recommendations for food and tours. The property is beautiful and had everything we needed and more. We were a family of 5 with our young kids and my mother in law. And this place was perfect for us with multiple bedrooms, bathrooms, washer dryer, full kitchen, extra beds, etc. The resort's facilities were great as well. Ko Olina is a great location to explore all other coasts as well. We often drove to north shore, east coast beaches and to Honolulu without traffic. We had an amazing stay and would love to be back sometime soon!

Our stay at the Marriott Ko Olina was a wonderful experience from start to finish, and a big part of that was Jason, who went above and beyond to help us find a solution that fit our family's needs perfectly. His responsiveness and willingness to work with us made the whole booking process stress-free.The resort itself is exceptionally family-friendly. There are two distinct pool areas to choose from: one features a fun slide and a river with more of an adventurous, active vibe as opposed to a lazy river vibe, while the other has a splash pad and a calmer, more relaxed atmosphere, ideal for younger kids or anyone looking to unwind. Beyond the pools, the property is surrounded by several beautiful lagoons. One sits right in front of the hotel, and a few others are just a short, easy walk away. These lagoons have calm, clear water that's great for wading and even some light snorkeling, so there's no shortage of ways to spend time in the water.Overall, between the accommodations, the lagoons, and the outstanding help from Jason, we'd happily stay here again and recommend it to any family visiting Oahu.

Jason was great to work with. I highly recommend renting from him. Very nice property, view but not so friendly staff and it was great for families with little kids. My teens were bored but not a bad property for families with little ones younger than teens.
