This Sierra Nevada chalet provides a multitude of adventures for families and mountaineers. Placed perfectly in the middle of the Alpine Forrest, across the street from Bear Lake in the Bear Valley Village with scenic surroundings. Many of the activities available include hiking, skiing, fishing, snow play, bicycling, and so many more! Whenever you need a quiet, relaxing getaway by the fire or a thrill seeking outdoor adventure our home provides it all!

The space
This newly refinished cedar home was hand built by our family friends decades ago. Now with its new look it will be used by you and our family for decades more! Our house features 3 full bedrooms plus a loft overlooking the living room downstairs with two full baths and can sleep up to 12 people. Anytime of year winter, spring, summer or fall this area has something unique to offer everyone!



***** IMPORTANT PLEASE READ ******

During the winter months our house and the entire Bear Valley Village becomes bound by snow. This means the roads become inaccessible to cars due to snow. You can Snowmobile, Ski, Snowboard, Snowshoe, or walk. Luckily this creates an abundance of experiences and snow play at your finger tips. There are several ways to arrive at your stay: more information provided in Getting Around.

Also, included in your cleaning/service fee is a one hour, one way transportation service for your checkin and checkout dates via snowmobile! This will include your guests and your belongings.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire chalet! Downstairs includes the living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room, full bathroom and two king bedrooms.
Upstairs has a living area, two king beds and a full bathroom in one half and three single beds out on the loft overlooking downstairs.

*BearValley General Store does have limited grocery items available. Please plan to bring all you food and beverage supplies with you for your enjoyment.

Snowmobiling, walking, snowshoeing, skiing are modes of transportation to get around the village. However in the winter, as a part of your reservation we provide snowmobile transportation upon checkin and checkout.
