Property is on a wooded rural farm in the mountains. The area is lovely. The property was clean, adequately equipped and charmingly decorated. Indoor area is small but decks are lovely. Wireless internet did not work for me but I did have cell service.

We chose this property to be close to the Oregon Caves Monument, and we are glad we did! This was a lovely farm stay in a trailer type BnB (both a first for us)! Communication was easy and we enjoyed the tour of the farm, all the animals that were there and the projects that this working farm had planned for. We also like the outdoor seating to enjoy our breakfast and the private porch to relax. Thank you Dayna and Dan for a great stay!

We were transiting through the area with a stop at Oregon caves. The farm is relatively close to the Caves. We especially enjoyed interacting with the animals and had the opportunity to pet dogs, pigs, goats and a cow. Dan, is personable and as very communicative, helping us find the place. The tailer was clean and the porch lovely.

Oregon Caves Getaway

Check-in was pretty smooth, did have a bit of trouble getting the gate unlocked. After that no problem. The kitchen area was small but good, although there could have been some spices on hand. Overall the location was great and my family enjoyed the farm animals.

Glamping on a Farm

We loved our stay. We loved our dog protection, chickens( the eggs were delicious),goats and beautiful Madrona trees. It was perfect for me( I am a farm/cabin/nature/dog lover). It was wonderful to leave the door open, have the screen closed and listen to the neighboring owl at night. Coffee on the beautiful deck in the morning….We will be back!!

Farm life

Stayed here because my daughter and i were visiting the Oregon caves. Very friendly. My daughter enjoyed spending time with the animals. Goats, pigs, rabbits, cows and dogs. All very friendly. The fresh goat milk and eggs were delicious. We'll definitely be staying here again.

Perfect Getaway in the Woods and Yet So Close!

Just what I needed- a secluded, quiet VRBO in the woods with a cabin feel to it. Yet not that far from the highway. Secure with a locked gate and a ton of farm experiences once you are inside the gate! Enjoy all the normal amenities plus be treated to a additional living space with the covered porch and deck complete with couch and tables. A gem- bring your camera. **Allow time for gate entry--this is a FARM with animals who need protection! :)

Dan and Danya are gracious host and hostess. They were very friendly and kind. It felt as though we had been friends for years. They have three dogs that are very friendly. Many other farm animals such as rabbits, chickens, and goats that wander the property at certain times of the day. There are a couple off pigs, too, one of which gave birth to 12 🐖 piglets during my stay at their place. Wonderful.

Cute peaceful getaway

Dan and Dayna were wonderful to work with. They have a cute camper set in the woods on a large property full of 50 animals. It was very peaceful which I love. And they were kind enough to provide us with fresh farm eggs. Unfortunately, I was traveling with a handicapped parent and although the accommodations were fine for me, it didn't work too well for my mom. If I had any suggestions, maybe a little ottoman or foot stool to place your feet on would be nice to have in there. All in all though, it was great for what I needed it for and I, myself, would definitely stay there again.

The secluded cabin in Selma is a large travel trailer under a pole building with 2 big porches and an extra playroom in the middle. It was very well done, fully equipped and very private. Located on a working farm but tucked off to a side. Great for a couple or bring the kids. A herd of goats might wander through, and the well trained dogs are very friendly. Their farm is enchanting but difficult to find along the busy hwy, the marker is a large madrone tree, but the turnout is generous and the host were available to open the gate.

Über den Gastgeber

Zu Gast bei Dayna Jader Delhey

Bild für Gastgeberprofil
We’re Dan and Dayna, long-time farmers who began raising animals in the 1990s when our boys were involved in 4-H. Over the years, our farm has grown alongside our family, and today our children and grandchildren still love spending time here. We enjoy sharing the beauty, knowledge, and slower pace of farm life, and hosting felt like a natural way to welcome others into this special place

Darum fiel die Entscheidung auf diese Unterkunft

We chose this area for its quiet beauty and connection to nature. Walking the land beneath the trees, surrounded by mountains, and listening to birds and forest sounds brings a sense of peace that never gets old. It’s a place where time slows down and nature sets the rhythm of the day

Das macht diese Unterkunft einzigartig

Set on 55 private, forested acres, our property offers a rare combination of seclusion, natural beauty, and intentional design. The Artist Retreat was created as a quiet, inspiring space where guests can disconnect from everyday noise and enjoy a simple, peaceful stay surrounded by nature. The setting, privacy, and thoughtful details make it a truly special place to unwind
