Everything about our stay was exceptional. Glenn and Sharon are great hosts, very communicative and helpful. Their house was awesome for us in our multi-family vacation with 6 adults and 6 kids. Plenty of space and comfortable arrangements. The bedrooms and bathrooms both worked out well.The views from the deck, and the walking distance to private dock were awesome!Highly recommend.

Great Vacation Home

We stayed her over New Years. This is a great house for a big family or group of friends. Enormous central entertainment area with a great well appointed kitchen. Bedrooms are large with very comfortable beds. Would recommend this house to anyone.

Memorial day weekend on the lake

This house is absolutely perfect. We had so much fun and there's so much to do. The home is large, well equipped, and enough room to have many people. We enjoyed a great barbecue, while we overlooked the lake. I definitely recommended and look forward to going back again.

Beautiful Home

We stayed at the house for Memorial Day weekend and were very very pleasantly surprised. The house was great and bigger then expected. The pictures definitely don't do the house justice! The great room is fantastic and everyone gathers in the kitchen. We enjoyed every minute of it and will be back!

Family Lake Trip

We have stayed at Lake Nacimiento every year for the past 25 years and have tried many Oak Shores properties. The Adams family home is by far the best of them all. Each room is so well appointed and the kitchen so well stocked that it feels like home. Glenn and Sharon were great to work with and very attentive to our needs. I would highly recommend this rental!!

From the minute you walk in the door to the minute you say goodbye to this beautiful home you feel warm and comfortable. The beds, linens, kitchen and dining supplies could not have been better. The house was perfect for our family of 6 adults and 4 children. The large living room was amazing and the kitchen which came fully loaded was so nice my kids wanted to take it home with them. The bedrooms were as described and had wonderful beds. The bathrooms were clean and came with ample supply of towels. The very nice patio deck with fire pit and BBQ was great for relaxing after a day sitting down on the boat dock deck, when were weren't out on our boat. The boat dock also worked well for docking out boat for the week. It was a very nice week, and we enjoyed the house.

Family lake trip

We had an incredible stay at the Adams beautiful lakefront home! From the moment we walked in we knew this was going to be a great trip. Beautiful decor, well stocked kitchen, very comfortable beds. Excellent communication with the owners. We loved sitting out on the deck and watching the sunset each night. The Adams home is luxurious, comfortable and feels like home. Patio views were so beautiful!

The house was perfect for our family. Plenty of bedrooms and baths gave everyone privacy and time to themselves. The great room was more than great! We gathered there for conversation, games and laughs. My son is a gourmet chef and was quite impressed with how the kitchen was stocked. Meals on the patio were especially enjoyable. We had a lovely day on the lake and spent time at the community pool. So much fun and luxury! Glenn and Sharron hosted us as if we were old friends. Cheers!

Beautiful home on Lake Nacimiento!

This was our first visit, but won't be our last. The house was perfect for our family vacation. We love to cook and the kitchen was fully equipped and gorgeous. The bedrooms were so comfortable - felt like home. The great room was plenty big for us all to hang out with the kids after a day on the lake and play games, watch movies, or do some wine tasting after visiting the wineries :). The day always ended on the deck around the firepit watching the shooting stars. Many lovely memories made and we can't wait to go back. The water level was low, but still plenty for activities. Thanks Glenn and Sharon for sharing your beautiful home. It was an absolute delight!

I had an amazing stay at this VRBO lake house! The cleanliness was exceptional, making me feel right at home. The location was a dream come true – right by the serene lake with stunning views. The owner's communication was prompt and helpful, ensuring a smooth experience from start to finish. The house was equipped with all the amenities one could ask for – from a fully stocked kitchen to cozy bedrooms. The attention to detail was evident everywhere. The deck overlooking the lake was the perfect spot to unwind, and the boat dock was a great place to relax and park the boat. Overall, this lake house rental exceeded my expectations in every way. Wonderful home with a beautiful private dock

Loved everything about the home. All bedrooms had king sized beds. Kitchen/main room was perfect. Only downside of house was second level AC never really worked. Too hot to open windows. There was a big difference in temp from top floor to bedroom floor. The covered private dock was awesome. Very big and owner provided extra chairs for us. Only downside of that was the steep hill to the house. Wasn't far, but not easy to bring stuff down for hanging at the lake. We had elderly parents with us that had to be guided down very carefully. Can slip if not careful.

Fabulous accomodations at Oak Shores Lake Nacimiento

We searched for a house large enough to accomodate our three generation family of 11 people, ranging in age from 10 to 76. Our requirements included views of the lake, a floating dock we could use for our boat and jet skis, and reasonable walking distance from the house to the dock. This property met all our requirements. Our host, the property owner, was very responsive to our questions before and during our visit. The house size is generous, with 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and a huge great room with a very well equipped kitchen. The beds are all very comfortable with nice linens.The walk down to the dock was steep in parts and about 200 yards from the lower deck to the dock, but reasonable and it provided great exercise. The lake level was down to about 47%, so the walk would be shorter when the lake level is higher. The boat dock was high quality and it also has a roof which provides great shade. There are great views of the lake and surrounding areas from the decks. There are three levels in this house, each with it's own AC system, which functions very well. We all had a great time at this property and we hope to plan a return visit.

Most of the details at the location were good, rooms amazing, views amazing , just an inconvenience, we didn’t have access to the marina , even when we have 3 little kids, they don’t give a little permission they tell us that , the acces was only for owners,, we were requesting that access, cause heading to the lake from the house was so risky for our kids .

I regret your miss understanding. And, I don’t understand your statement of the Oak Shores Marina was not available to you, which it is. The only restriction is that, because of the congestion, renters are not allowed to park vehicles at the marina parking lot. The clubhouse, launch facilities, community pool, etc are all available. A simple phone call to me, which I encourage, would have clarified this concern. As for the access to our dock, we mentioned during our pre arrival discussion by phone (which I always do), that there is a 5 minute walk to our private dock. Also, our pictures show the relationship of our home to the lake. Current lake levels determine the logistics of walking to our dock, which obviously, is out of our control.
