Montana Living! Just minutes to the Madison River for world class fly fishing or whitewater rafting. Located just over an hour from the West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park. Conveniently located just over an hour from the Bozeman Airport. The 11.5 acre Log Home property is newly listed for 2025. This 4 bedroom/ 3 bath home is ideal for families. Enjoy the large porch for breathtaking mountain views and relaxing after a long day of exploring all that the surrounding area offers.

There is an abundance of public access acreage to hike and explore. Wildlife frequents this area in Southwest Montana and it is rare to not have wildlife visitors pass by in the evening.
On the main level you have 3 bedroom, 2 baths, kitchen, and living room complete with a wood burning fireplace and log stove. Downstairs there is a 4th bedroom, bathroom, and an additional living room with 2nd fireplace and log stove.

My family and I began vacationing in Southwest Montana 10 years ago. We have always been attracted to the postcard worthy scenery and the endless amount of outdoor activities. The drive to Yellowstone National Park from the house is amazing as you follow the Madison River and pass Earthquake Lake. Ennis is just 13 miles away. Ennis has most anything you would need:
Several good restaurants and bars, grocery store, 12 fly fishing outfitters, coffee shops, and Main St. stores.

This property was amazing and the host did an excellent job of checking in to make sure we had everything we needed and were having a comfortable stay. It is a legit western Montana log cabin and was very comfortable to stay in. We will be booking this property again!

Comfortable Cabin in the Perfect Location

The Madison River Fly Fishing cabin is the perfect retreat for a quick weekend getaway or the longer stay. With easy access to Ennis, close proximity to amazing fishing, and nestled in the picturesque Madison Valley, it's a great spot for an visit. Coupled with easy and quick communication from the host, it makes for a great place to stay.

Exceptional property for a family trip. The home is close to Ennis with a quintessential Montana range and mountain view. It was clean, and well equipped and maintained. We had multiple family members and never felt cramped. Greg's home was perfect for our stay. I would recommend without hesitation.

What a fabulous place! Had a work trip near Ennis, MT, and my team and I had an excellent time. The house was well furnished with everything we needed to cook and get some much-needed rest each day. The back porch, looking at the mountains, was spectacular! Our host Greg's communication was outstanding! Will stay again next time we are in Southwest Montana!

Wonderful experience at this spacious property. Evenings on the deck watching the stars were spectacular. Adult kids loved the hot tub and the pellet grill was great for cooking steaks from Deemo’s. Plenty to do in the area with fly fishing, horseback riding, Wade Lake, and YNP. Communication with the owner was great! We had a wonderful week and look forward to returning in the future!!

This cabin was perfect for a little family getaway. Felt like the cabin was still undergoing a few fix ups. But cabin was very comfortable and clean. Our only complaint as girls was not having electrical outlets in the bathroom. Overall really enjoyed our stay. Beds were comfortable. Check in process and communication with the host were wonderful and very accommodating. Would def stay again.

Thank you for staying. We are always doing projects to make the cabin even more accommodating for larger families. I know your group was large and possibly even exceeded our posted maximum of 10. We have a plan to add outlets in the bathrooms over the winter as wiring is very difficult in Log Homes. I hope you found the outlets which are in all the other rooms of the house for blow dryers and such.

My family and I started vacationing in SW Montana 9 years ago. We fell in love with the beauty of the landscape, it is truly Big Sky country. There are endless activities for the outdoor enthusiast. We spend several days in Yellowstone National Park each year, but enjoy staying in the quiet rural area to truly get the Montana experience. The drive to the West Yellowstone park entrance is just over an hour and honestly is one of the most scenic parts of your trip.

The property our house is on was once part of a large ranch, The Bar 7 Ranch. The Bar 7 remains a fully operational cattle ranch today. The Ennis National Fish Hatchery is in our proximity about 1.5 miles from the house. Our area is definitely horse and cattle ranch territory.

Our house has the rustic Montana feel with modern amenities. The mountain views from the house are spectacular and give you the feeling you have the entire valley to yourself. You have the option to do a different outdoor activity each day of your stay or you can grab a good book and curl up in front of the fireplace. Whichever you choose, our 11.5 acre property will fulfill your Montana vacation.
