As a family of extensive travelers, we typically enjoy stays at four-star hotels. This review reflects our experience, which may come off as harsh, but it’s an honest account.Initially, I requested an early check-in, but after multiple back-and-forths with the owner, I was denied, leading to four frustrating hours spent figuring out what to do post-flight. Upon arrival, we found boxspring mattresses outside the unit, which felt unprofessional. I spent the first ten minutes picking up trash, which continued throughout our stay. The neighbor next-door had children's toys scattered about, negatively impacting curb appeal.Noise was a major issue. We endured loud music until 2 AM on three nights, along with a domestic dispute outside our unit on Christmas morning. There was also drag racing nearby, making sleep nearly impossible. The garbage disposal malfunctioned on the first day, and though the owner sent someone to fix it, he wrongly blamed me for the issue. My husband, a former appliance technician, ultimately resolved it.Strengths of the property included ceiling fans, large TVs, and a comfortable sofa. However, weaknesses like low water pressure, cold cement floors, were significant drawbacks. The second bedroom lacked a ceiling fan, and my daughters felt unsafe in the first-floor bedroom.Overall, this experience taught my children to appreciate home comforts. While the rental served its purpose, we’ll likely avoid townhomes in the future.
