BURN BAN EFFECTIVE - Gillespie County Burn Ban is ON, Effective Monday, February 2, 2026: Attached please find a local DECLARATION OF DISASTER & ORDER RESTRICTING OUTDOOR BURNING related to imminent threat of wildfires. Restrictions: NO open fires/burning and NO smoking.
As a result, outdoor wood-burning fire pits are NOT permitted. This mandate is enforced by the city and county and is beyond our control. You are welcome to use Gas fire pits and BBQ grills, if applicable. For charcoal grills, please allow all hot coals to cool completely inside the grill before disposing of them. Please review the property listing to confirm the type of fire pit and grill available, if applicable. If it is discovered that the fire pits/chimineas/outdoor fireplaces were used or wood was burned during your stay, a fine starting at $100 will be applied. This is a serious fire safety issue, and we kindly ask that you comply with all city-mandated regulations. Thank you for your understanding!
Note: The cottage sits on 5 acres towards the back of the property. The homeowners reside in the Main House at the front of the property. The cottage is positioned beyond the main house and the barn, towards the back. There is a distance of 120 yards between the owners' residence and the B&B. Please be aware that the homeowners maintain a farm with goats and sheep on the premises, and they tend to the animals daily. Any noise typically comes from the animals, as the owners do not regularly use machinery. However, the animals may become vocal when they spot people nearby.
*IMPORTANT: The glass shower door is currently slightly misaligned. The homeowners are coordinating repairs with a glass company. In the meantime, please use caution and avoid forcing the glass shower door closed.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the cottage via keypad. They will have access to the cottage, hot tub and firepit area.

The cottage is positioned beyond the main house and the barn, towards the back. There is a distance of 120 yards between the owners' residence and the B&B. Any noise typically comes from the animals, as the owners do not regularly use machinery. However, the animals may become vocal when they spot people nearby.
Getting Around:
You are a short 8 min drive to Main Street (4 miles away), you'll have easy access to all the attractions while enjoying the tranquility of the countryside. We do offer Luxury Private Transportation Services, please reach out to us directly for details and scheduling!

- This property is not suitable for children/infants. Only 2 adults allowed.
- This property is not pet-friendly.
- No Smoking Allowed!
- Pest Control is scheduled quarterly. Due to the house being in the hill country, you will encounter critters. This is common even with pest control treatments.
Security Camera: There is only one external security camera and it is facing the main house (owners house) at the front of the property. Camera doesn't face the cottage in anyway.
