On the Hook! Sunset Cabana by the Caribbean Sea

Beautiful private home on the tropical island of Caye Caulker. We are located in Bahia “On the Hook” of the island on a dead end street one house from the breathtaking Caribbean Sea. If you're looking for peace and tranquility you've found the perfect place.

On the Hook! is located on the bayside of the island near the end of Tarpon St. Our property is fully fenced/gated. There is a beautifully maintained plunge pool with patio seating for guest use. Little to no traffic/people venture down this street leaving guests to ultimate peace, quiet and privacy.

Upon arrival you will be greeted by one of the property owners Anne or Mary. She will be there to open up the rental unit and complete the registration process. Once inside you will find two sets of keys which include front gate keys and cabana keys for your use during your stay.

Guests will have full access to the downstairs cabana (approximately 1000 square feet) 2 bedrooms with a full bath, kitchen, living room and the plunge pool.

Both bedrooms offer queen beds with brand new air conditioners. Both bedrooms have blackout curtains for optimal sleeping conditions. The brand new couch in the living room is convertible to a queen sized bed and there is an inflatable queen sized mattress available upon request. *** Please note: the space comfortably fits 4. For additional occupants there is a $20 per person per night fee along with an additional $30 laundry fee.***

We love being nestled in a quiet part of the island. We have 4 Bicycles (adult sized) provided with your rental to ride into the heart of town which is a scenic 5-10 minute bike ride. If you prefer to walk it is about 15-20 minutes to the heart of the village. If you prefer, golf carts these are available for rent in town from several different companies. We can help you set up rentals of golf carts. *** please note... we cannot control "Mother Nature" and depending upon the season (dry season vs. rainy) the island roads can have more water than normal.

The property boasts flowers, various plants including aloe vera, numerous palm trees, and a plantain tree while you relax poolside in your own private gated oasis.

You may use the property as you wish. This includes the pool, the front patio, and the BBQ area to cook up your fresh caught fish.

The home and property is incredibly clean and has been meticulously designed for ultimate comfort and ease.
