This cozy and updated lake property has everything you need for a very comfortable stay! PLUS, Lake access fees ranging from $68-$136 per stay are covered by the property owner!Other compliments of owner are linens, towels, firewood, and so much more! From cozy beds, to a bath with a large walk-in shower, laundry area, & an open kitchen with a breakfast bar and all of the conveniences of home. The living room features a vaulted ceiling & wood fireplace. Outside on the patio there is a charcoal or gas grill, and a wood firepit for camp night! Enjoy a relaxing evening in a rocking chair on the porch, or in an oversized arm chair in the sunroom with a view of Lake Mokoma.

Wonderful House Right off the Lake

Adorable cottage literally a two minute walk from the lake. Great hiking paths within the Lake Makoma community. The house is comfortable and cozy. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Cozy Spot

The spot is very accessible and absolutely perfect for us on our trip to the local state parks. We had weather one night and spending the evening by the fire was a delight! A couple or a family would easily enjoy this location for a great getaway.

This is our second time staying at Tara's place. It is 5stars. Everything you would need in the kitchen is there. The place is warm and cozy and the area is quiet and beautiful. Sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch was so relaxing. We visited High Knob, Canyon Vista, Dushore and Eagles Mere. It was our second time and it won't be the last. Great place!

Perfect little cottage in an ideal location close to the lake. Host was quick to respond to any issues. Our dogs loved to lounge in the sunroom while we were out during the day.

Awesome Place

Tara's place was wonderful. She made sure you would have everything you could possibly need from condiments to health an beauty items. The place was clean and bright. Loved the location. It was so quiet and peaceful.

Tara was great. Top notch with communication. The house was comfy and had all supplies that I needed. We enjoyed the lake, kayaks and fire pit. I only needed a place for an extended weekend, so I very much appreciated finding a home that did not require a 7 day booking and pet friendly. It's a rare find. I would certainly stay again! Wonderful house/host

Tara is a wonderful host. Very communicative, polite, and honest. The house was great. Very well stocked. Couldn’t ask for a better set up. Our family really enjoyed the fire pit. We had some cool nights and that fire came in handy. But yes, most definitely would recommend this place to anyone looking to visit the area.

Lake Mokoma Gem!

So many great things … super pet friendly . 3 great bedrooms . 2 comfy couches. Smart TV. 2 kayaks w lake access a short walk away . Access to Lake Mokoma. Beautiful sunroom with solid beautiful table big enough to sit 8 or so people very comfortably. Lovely shower . Washer and dryer on main floor . Functional and well stocked kitchen … we had all we need for our family of 7 to have a terrific week before the back to school busyness starts !

Great location in Lake Mokoma. I’ve stayed at 3 different properties over the past 3 yrs at LM & this is by far my favorite. Beach within walking distance and property accessible to running/walking trails throughout Lake Mokoma. Quiet in the evenings and all of the necessities were provided- towels/linens and coffee pods! Would definitely visit Katonah House again! Super enjoyed time spent reading in the evenings in the enclosed porch and happy hour on the front porch. Kayaks were available too. Highly recommend. If you’re into hiking World’s End, Loyalsock, Old Logger’s, and Ricketts are super close (loyalsock haystacks is about 7 minutes.) Hidden Gem day spa in Laporte is great for beauty treatments. Book ahead. Shout out to World’s End coffee in Eagles Mere. And if you’re willing to drive for dinner Basil (reservation) in Muncy has the best pizza ever. The fresh dough is insane.
