Lakefront luxury awaits you at the Lakeshore Living, conveniently located just 2 hours from Metro Detroit. The space has been professionally designed to offer both functionality and enjoyment. Featuring 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and a HUGE game garage that includes a kids' play area, bunkroom (located in an outbuilding), air hockey, ping pong, foosball, shuffleboard, Golden Tee Golf arcade game, etc. Outdoors boasts a large beach with lounge chairs, kayaks, paddleboards, a firepit area, and an oversized deck on the water with a dining table, sectional seating, and grill for great outdoor meals! The side-covered patio includes a pull-down TV so you can catch your favorite games while relaxing outside. Lakeshore Living can comfortably accommodate up to 16 people. Everything was wonderful! Great host, great beach, great yard and absolutely great garage/entertainment ctr/bunkhouse! Accommodated 16 of us very comfortably! (With 2 little ones sleeping in master with mom & dad) Had a wonderful time!

Very communicative host. Nice detached garage with plenty of activities. I feel we were mislead as to the bed sitation. There were trundle beds underneath the beds in n bedrooms of main house but no room to actually pull them out. I guess they could technically fit but there would be no room for anything else and i don't know how you'd walk around them. I would say the main house would only sleep 8 comfortably and the bunk house 6. The main house was also very small.

Hello Jess! I am so sorry you feel you were misled. We do our best to describe each bedroom and the accommodations for our guests prior to their booking. We have the trundle beds in place as many of our guests enjoy using them for their children to be able to sleep in the same room, etc. When I checked in with you after your first night, your response was that everything was "perfect" so I had no idea that you were unhappy or feeling that way. Again, I am sorry that you feel like you were misled, that is absolutely never our intention and we take pride in providing clear listings and descriptions to ensure that the space will work well for any guests, before they book. The last thing we ever want is for anyone to be disappointed, we work very hard to ensure that is not the case. We wish you and your group all the best!

Matriarch Milestone Birthday

We treated our mom to a weekend getaway and family party for her 80th birthday. This property was perfect for 7 adults to stay for 3 nights. The mattresses were extremely comfortable, even the bunk beds in the kids room were great for adults. The garage was ideal for the family celebration on one of the days. We loved all of the different outdoor seating areas and all were used. We found everything we needed in the kitchen for dinner prep. We enjoyed the kayaks and fished off the shore. The amount of seating around the fire pit was great. The owners were quick to respond to questions or issues. The only problem we had was connecting to football games using the owner's YouTube TV account so we used our own account. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would recommend it to anyone.

The bedrooms in the main house were very small and the trundle could not be pulled out unless the furniture was removed from the room. We went by the information on the VRBO website and it did not include any information about the dam failure and the dock being ten feet above the ground and rocks below as it did not extend into the water. I understand the dam will be repaired by summer 2026 and then the area will be safer and allow access. I suggest repairing the rotten boards on the dock as this will be a future safety concern. I also plead for future renters that you remove the decorative pillows which were excessive and needed to be stored in the master bedroom as there was no where to put them. Stacking them in the corner of the master bedroom, piled three quarters of the way to the ceiling

Relaxing stay with lots of Amenities

We had 10 family members. This house had everything we needed. Lots of different spaces indoor and out for playing, relaxing and eating. The gameroom/1 bedroom/1 bathroom are in a separate building, the garage. This was perfect for the 3 teen boys. We brought our 4 kayaks and also enjoyed the two paddleboards and sit on kayaks. We swam and played games and slept in. We played cornhole and grilled a couple of times. My son borrowed the fishing rods from the shed and we got bait. The fishing was great! The lake sprayed herbicide along the banks one of the days and we had to stay out of the water for 24 hours. They also spray for mosquitos. We went to a nature preserve one day and into Lake Huron another. We went to some outlets nearby and into town for breakfast and shopping. Any questions or issues we had were promptly addressed by the manager.
