Schönes Blockhaus-Lodge auf dem entfernten Nordufer des Sebec See, in der Nähe der Grenzstein Canoodlin Punkt in der "großen See", gleich hinter der Enge. Das Camp verfügt über ein Feldsteinen Kamin, 2 private Schlafzimmer, ein Etagenbett, offenes Zimmer, Küche, 2 Bäder und eine Sauna. Das Anwesen verfügt über 425 Fuß Seeufer Fassade, eine Feuerstelle, See Vorderdeck, Strandpromenade, eine Veranda und einen abgeschirmten Veranda. Ein perfektes Wochenende !!!

This is the perfect lake cabin. All the conveniences in a rustic feeling camp. Waterfront is very rocky, and lake is only accessible from the dock.So keep that in mind if you are swimming..The host, Kevin, is fully and immediately accessible. This is the perfect camp setting for Sebec.

Great location and camp! The kids had a great time fishing and swimming out front. Plenty of room in the camp and a nice secluded lot.

Peaceful, Beautiful and Amazing Sunsets

The property is exactly as advertised. It is spacious, clean and well cared for and the views are incredible. Kevin was very easy to work with and we would definitely stay here again. It was a wonderful place to spend time with family and friends and be awed by the beauty all around.

Beautiful Location

Our stay at "Peace and Tranquility" was relaxing and rejuvenating. Our host was gracious and helpful. We fell asleep for the sound of the call of the Loon. It doesn't get any better than that.

Tranquil, peaceful getaway

I stayed here for a week for my honeymoon. We were looking for a quiet getaway where my husband and I could hike, sit by a fire, and relax and we did just that. Kevin was so great to talk to and was in constant contact in case we needed anything, even stopped by with more coffee when it got low. A wonderful experience, so great, we're staying another week for the 4th of July this year, can't wait!!!!

We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the house, the good supply of necessities & the lake was very calming! The host is very pleasant & quick to respond if you need anything. The packet he has explaining things is very detailed. Looking forward to going back again next year!!

Perfect Week

We had wonderful, peaceful week at this beautiful lakefront home. Caught some fish, read some books, sat by the fire (wood provided!), played some cards, and watched some beautiful sunsets. Kevin maintains his camp extremely well and was very helpful and accommodating throughout our time there. We hope to return someday! :)

Beautiful cabin with everything you can ask for!

This cabin was everything I could imagine. There was a beautiful living room, bedroom, kitchen, and a patio at the dock. I could go anywhere throughout the cabin to relax or enjoy the view. At night, there is little to no light pollution. The stars in the sky were absolutely majestic. There was plenty of games at the cabin incase you’re closed in on a rainy day. The bluetooth surround sound speakers were also really amazing! I would definitely come back here in the future!

Slice of Heaven!

If you are looking for a true Maine camp experience, this is the spot! Surrounded by pine trees, the camp itself provides everything you would need. The property has a sun deck and a dock for swimming among many other amenities. The shoreline has large rocks that are perfect for fishing. We had campfires at night so the kids could enjoy s'mores. Part of the porch is screened in for when the mosquitoes come out. Sebec Lake is clean and beautiful. The host is extremely responsive and can answer any questions. Highly recommend, especially for families with older, more independent children (6 and up).

A Beautiful Experience

We rented this property because it was in the path of totality for the solar eclipse. Despite soggy, and snowy (!) weather leading up to our stay, the property was in excellent shape. The lake may still have been frozen, but there was a very nice deck over the water, perfect for taking in the view. My family watched the eclipse from there--a quiet, awe-inspiring moment made better by the peaceful setting. The living room space is lovely, and perfect for gathering together and chatting. The porch/deck was a perfect place to watch the sun set, and as a family of admitted nature-nerds, we appreciated sitting there in the morning, watching the early Spring changes in the woods and wildlife. We also like to cook when we're all together, and were pleased with how well laid out the kitchen was. If you are looking for a peaceful place to visit with close friends or family, I'd highly recommend this location!

Family trip

July 4th-July8th 2023 Our family had a great time this week. The cabin was very comfortable and the views were amazing. We swam, kayaked, fished and relaxed while at the cabin. The kids loved letting the fish nibble on fingers and toes while hanging out in the water. Just hang on to the end of the dock and the fish will come. We found that the fish loved to eat the horse flies that we killed while out of the water…sweet revenge on the flies (there were not that many BTW)! While swimming, we saw a Mink (or two) running down the shore line with a mouse it had caught. The Loons calling at dusk and dawn was very satisfying to hear since we don’t see too many of these birds in Virginia. Per Kevin’s recommendation we visited Silver Creek BBQ in Monson. The steak and cheese sandwich was next level (smoked steak) and the sausage sandwich with kraut was killer (locally made sausage, kraut and mustard). The people who work there were really nice and it was like we had known them for a long time. It was worth the drive! We loved our time at the cabin and the experiences we had will be a lasting memory for our family.

Kevin’s cabin was everything we wanted for our lakeside stay. Excellent swimming, boating and just hanging. The water is so clear and the boulders along the rocky shoreline are massive and beautiful! We were very comfortable on the fully screened porch - it faces west for great sunsets. Kevin is a friendly and helpful host! We’d love to stay again.

Everything was as expected! Kevin, the owner came by to visit in his boat one day and was very responsive. The entire property was fantastic. A note for those coming to stay – There are no real close grocery stores. When you drive into the property, even if it’s 30 miles away, you might want to stop and get your provisions.

Amazing Location !

What a special corner of Maine to spend time with family on the lake. We loved the location and enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, watching the sun set from the lakeside porch and sitting around the stone fireplace in the Living Room playing board games. The sauna is especially nice after a long day hiking! Thank you, Kevin!

Amazing home and lake!

My partner and I stayed here for just 3 nights and we would have loved to have stayed longer. This is truly a special place...just what we needed. It was actually more than the 2 of us needed, but we didn't mind! We hiked at Peaks-Kenney and Borestone and swimming felt so great after. It is a perfect spot to swim. For the majority of the time, we felt like we had the whole lake to ourselves. We didn't get to see one of the beautiful sunsets, because it was cloudy, but our evening that we spent sitting on the deck right on the water was heaven...so peaceful and what a view. We had everything we needed for our stay and communication with the host was perfect. Thank you, Kevin, for sharing your amazing lake home!
