Experience the energy of New Orleans at The Eleanor, a vacation rental in the heart of downtown — just minutes from Bourbon Street, the French Quarter, Caesars Superdome, and Smoothie King Center. Whether you’re visiting for Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest, a concert, or just to enjoy the city's legendary nightlife, dining, and shopping - our location puts you steps from it all.

The space is great if traveling with family, friends, or any type of group. The space offers 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a full kitchen, dining table and living room with a queen size sleeper sofa. Three bedrooms offer a king bed and the fourth bedroom offers two queen size beds. Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom. One of the ensuites has a shower only and the other ensuites offer a tub/shower combo. The living room offers a 65” TV and the bedrooms have a 55" TV, all with streaming abilities. Each unit has a stacked washer and dryer and clothing steamer for use during your stay as well.

The rooftop pool and hot tub are shared by all units in the property. The rooftop pool and hot tub are open daily from 8:00 am – 10:00pm, weather permitting. Our pool is not heated, and swimming is at your own risk. This area is designated as non-smoking.

We have a designated vaping area located on the 9th floor of the building. Smoking/vaping is strictly prohibited in our units and will set off our state of the art smoke alarm system.

The Eleanor New Orleans is located in Downtown New Orleans on Loyola Ave featuring 31 units that are 3-6 bedrooms and range from 1,178-1,959 sq ft. We are a locally owned and operated vacation rental in Downtown New Orleans on Loyola Avenue. Our arrival process is contactless, but our property manager and/or front desk staff are available 24/7 during your stay.

While our hotel does not offer parking, there are two public parking facilities conveniently located directly below the property. Rates are generally $20-30/24 hours (but will increase during special events and festivals). The two parking options are located just below our property. Park First Saratoga Garage #1025 and has a height clearance of 6’4”. The other option, ParkMobile Zone 50408 (surface lot), is also directly behind our building for overflow or oversized vehicles.

We are conveniently located near many popular attractions:

French Quarter – 3 blocks to the beginning and 5 blocks (10 minute walk) to Bourbon Street
Superdome – 10 minute walk
Smoothie King Center – 10 minute walk
Saenger Theatre- 1 block (4 minute walk)

Transportation:
Amtrak (train) and Greyhound (bus) Stations – 0.7 miles, easily accessible via the Union Passenger Terminal via Canal St Streetcar (only $3/day on the Le Pass RTA app).

Louis Armstrong International Airport (MSY) – 14.4 miles (approx. 20 minutes without traffic) – There are many Uber/Lyft/Taxi cabs at the airport that are readily available to bring you downtown.

The Eleanor is located on a streetcar line. Use the streetcar to get to the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, City Park, Cemeteries and plenty of other areas along the way. We recommend downloading the Le Pass RTA app and getting a Jazzy Pass for getting around the city.

Pets are allowed for an additional fee of $135/stay (max 2 included). We have a designated pet relief area on the 9th floor, and there is also a grassy park located across the street from our units. Please let us know ahead of time if you are planning to bring a pet.

Early check-in or late check-out may be available for your stay for an additional fee of $300 for a 12pm arrival or $200 for a 2pm arrival. A late departure of 12pm would be an additional fee of $200 (an extra 2 hours). Unfortunately, we are unable to store luggage pre- or post-stay, so if you need to guarantee an earlier arrival or departure, we recommend booking the night before or after in order to guarantee anything earlier than the 2pm arrival or later than a 12pm departure.

We only require light cleaning prior to departure – taking out garbage and washing any dirty dishes. All linen is professionally laundered between guests.

The property was roomy and comfortably fit the 10 of us. The beds were very comfortable and clean. Each room had a rack for hanging clothes. Each bathroom had body soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Be careful with the use of toilet paper as each bathroom cane with only 3 rolls. The access was easy to get to and from using Uber. I would stay there again.

Great property with terrific and very responsive staff… can walk to a lot of places, quarter, Lafayette square etc. my only knock would be that there isn’t much around it but office buildings and hotels, no fun bars, restaurants to stop in on your way home but not a big deal

The Eleanor was a great place to host the family for Tulane's graduation. Check-in was smooth and the unit itself as well as the to the rooftop pool and hot tub area were spotless. Communication via the actual team at The Eleanor smoothed a few issues as their payment system with VRBO had recently been updated. Although they don't offer luggage storage without a cost and there's no formal check-in process, there was surprisingly always one person on duty at the entryway (for any questions) and also someone upstairs cleaning the pool area and bathrooms. We even borrowed a pack-n-play for one afternoon for visitors and it was brought directly to our door! Only one elevator was working during our stay, but we never waited for more than a minute or two during our 5 day stay so we were not inconvenienced.

I am so glad we selected this property after considering many. The property was beautiful, clean, comfortable and well-appointed. Location was great: most every place we wanted to visit was walkable, and the streetcar was outside the building. Communication with the property manager, Shane, was great; he always quickly replied and was helpful. The rooftop pool and hot tub were just what we wanted after a fun day exploring. I will recommend this property to anyone I know visiting NOLA.

The perfect place!

We truly enjoyed our stay! We had 5 ladies and we all enjoyed individual rooms and bathrooms! Everything was exactly as expected and on par with the listing. Highly recommend for large groups/family! And our view was beautiful! Especially at sunset.
