Back to The Shore

We’ve been coming to OC for 50 years, but this was our first time in the Gardens. Best stay ever. No traffic. Easy parking. No crowds on the beach. The beach was only steps away. And so nice to have the pool to cool off after a bike ride and occupy the kids while prepping dinner. The house was spacious and accommodated our family perfectly.

Great House!

This home, location and pool were all we could ever want in a rental beach house. The Shomo' s were prompt to answer any questions that we may have had during our week stay. This home was clean and large enough to accommodate our family of 9. The grandkids had a great time in the pool and at the beach. We hope to go back in the future.

Everything we wanted!

The home is situated right off a nice, quiet beach within inground pool and is exactly what we were looking for. There are four spacious bedrooms. The master bedroom is large with a beautiful view of the ocean and a private bathroom. The bed was a very comfortable memory foam mattress. It’s an older home but well maintained and clean and the decor gives it a nostalgic, homey feel. It was wonderful being right on a nice, quiet beach with the option of sitting around a beautiful pool we would definitely return..

Very relaxing...close to the beach!

Had a lovely time! Each day was better than the last. Being so close to the almost private and secluded beach was wonderful and then being able to jump in the pool afterward was marvelous! Our family had a BarBQ with the gas grill. Nice touch. House was comfortable and cheery. Will definitely revisit for our next beach vacation. Thank you, Marcy, you were very accommodating.

We had a great experience renting this home. It’s location was simply amazing-beach access and just 5-7 minutes from anywhere we wanted to go (boardwalk, restaurants, etc.)! The host was responsive when we reached out while we were there as well. I would recommend this house for anyone on the fence

Wonderful Vacation

The house we stayed in well maintained and clean. The pool was as nice as stated and maintenance was done on a weekly basis. The house was next to an access to the and beach was not crowded during our stay. Would definitely recommend this lovely home for an enjoyable vacation.

Happy Fourth

Our family had a wonderful time spending 4 th of July week at 912 Seacrest Road. Location excellent. The house is comfortable , clean, with a great, well equipped kitchen. New outdoor grill. Fireworks from Ocean City/ Atlantic City/ Margate could be seen from the beach. The homeowners are very friendly and accommodating . We love using this house for our summer beach getaway.

“Best of both worlds” as they say

We have two very active 7 and 9 year olds that love to come back from the beach, jump in the outside shower and jump in the pool to cool off and continue playing. If the weather is not good for the beach, the odds are it will work for the pool unless it is raining. And then, you are not far away from visits to Lucy the Elephant, the Aviation Museum , the Cape May Zoo, the Condor and Horse Shoe Crab reserve, the Wildwood Lighthouse, and so much more!

Wonderful location

Very nice, comfortable home with a great location to the beach. Could watch grandkids playing in the sand right from the front porch. Plenty of parking for our 3 trucks on a quiet, dead-end street. Low traffic area made it nice for the kids to ride their bikes. Enjoyed the "almost private" beach, and when necessary, just a short walk to the guarded beach. Loved the pool. Would definitely rent again.

This is the perfect property and location in OC. From the private pool to the uncrowded beach (during 4th of July week!) this vacation made me fall in love with OCNJ all over again. The owners are lovely and very responsive as well. Looking forward to next year already!

Perfect!

This was the perfect home away from home! The house is steps from the beautiful, nearly private beach. The boardwalk is only a mile away. Two couples and four children fit perfectly in this home. The pool was just what we needed after exploring each day. We hope to come again next year!

Amazing home, amazing location.

Ocean City Beach House - 912 Seacrest

House and owner were great. House had everything we were looking for: Short walk to beautiful private beach; short drive to great boardwalk for kids; great house with nice pool, outdoor shower, comfortable back enclosed porch, nice front open porch, really nice kitchen, large living room with entertainment equipment, comfortable bedrooms and even a washer dryer. Also the house was nicely decorated and the kitchen had all the stuff you could possibly need. Highly recommend this house.

What's not to like?

I walked into this house and felt right at home. Built in the 50's, this place is so well taken care of and soooo clean. Super equipped kitchen with all kinds of pots and pans, glasses, etc. Beds are new and very comfortable. The pool has spoiled me - I will never be able to rent another beach house without a pool. And the beach, steps away. So easy to cart all the stuff and make multiple trips when you feel like it. The dead end street is so quiet, your kids can ride their bikes up and down the road mid week. The boardwalk is close by and the morning bike rides are fun. We had a wonderful week, so good that we booked two weeks for next year.

Wonderful Oceanfront home!

We stayed at the home the 1st week in August, myself, husband, 3 little kids and parents and sister. We had a relaxing week, enjoying the pool in the yard and the easy access to the beach right outside our door. We had a wonderful week away and would definitely stay again if we vacation back in Ocean City!

Best Vacation Rental Ever!

WOW!!Just returned from vacationing at this gem of a house and already booked for next year. My sisters and I have been vacationing with our families in OC for 20 years and have stayed at several vacation rentals. This is by far the best house we have even rented and we ALL LOVED it. It has a large family room, large screened in porch (where we played cards and games in the evening), quiet area, lots of parking, gas grill, beautiful BIG bedrooms, practically beach front, CLEAN, and a spectacular back yard with a beautiful POOL. Marcy is an attentive owner and really cares about the property. She goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. Thanks Marcy and Bob, see you next year!

This home is unique and wonderful in many ways! So close to the ocean you constantly hear, see and smell the surf. Your guarded beach is 50 feet from the house. The front porch and back yard offer comfortable outdoor seating. The enclosed, screened back porch and landscaped back yard are great for dining or lounging while you watch children play in your private, 31 ft long, in ground pool.
