Other things to note
Tulum is located in a tropical jungle with a very humid climate. We specifically selected the chukum interior wall finish, but occasionally you may notice a humid "scent" related to the jungle climate- this is not due to excessive moisture, mold or mildew within our property or a cleanliness issue and is common in all properties and resorts in the area.
We have regularly scheduled pest control, however Tulum is located in a tropical jungle so you may have still have visits from the critters that call our jungle home. Please do not approach or interact with wildlife for your safety.

Potential for noise
"Tulum (and Veleta) are growing communities and construction is still occurring in the area. Please be aware that construction and road noise may be heard from the unit (although construction in the community is permissible only during working hours and on Saturdays). "

Amenity limitations
"Tulum (and Veleta) are growing communities and guests should expect construction, streets and roads may present some inconveniences including potholes, potential intermittent power outages (although they are normally temporary). During a power outage Wifi service & AC also will not work."

Pools
"The private plunge pool & shared swim-Up pools are not separately fenced nor do they have any type of security devices to restrict unintentional access. For this reason we do not recommend our home for young children or those for which this is a safety concern"

May encounter potentially dangerous animal
"Tulum is located in a tropical jungle. While our property is in a developed area and encounters are unlikely, it is still possible that guests may encounter wild animals, insects that could be considered dangerous. Please do not approach wildlife & notify the staff of any concerns or sightings"


Any issues/concerns about the property must be brought to our attention within 2 hours of check-in or immediately upon discovering the issue for things that arise during the guest's stay via Airbnb's messaging system so that we can immediately address the problem or concern. No refunds will be granted for issues not reported in writing on the platform according to these terms or outside the specified timeframe, or for any requests received after a guest's stay has concluded.
