Apartment with Hot Tub and Sauna Near UM/Downtown
This bright, clean, comfortable and well-appointed lower level apartment is conveniently located just off I-90 in the coveted lower Rattlesnake neighborhood. It puts you proximal to The University of Montana, Missoula Art Museum, Missoula Public Library, Rattlesnake Recreation Corridor, the Clark Fork river, North Hills trail system and our ever vibrant and bustling downtown - which features all the Best of Missoula. Our place allows you to optimize both your rest and play in our lovely city.
The space
A separate, secure entrance through double French doors lead into a bright, spacious, fully stocked kitchen. A gas range with convection oven, full sized fridge, dishwasher and microwave make the kitchen ideal for foodies wishing to craft their own meals and eat in during their stay.
Enjoy access to the patio and bbq grill and perhaps most importantly, the 6 person hot tub and adjacent dry sauna. Soak with soft patio lighting or under the night sky...then wrap up in plush terry robes and slippers which are provided for you.
2 bedrooms are outfitted with cushy, ultra comfortable beds - one queen, one full. For added comfort, each bedroom is equipped with a flat screen TVs. Compact alcove closets are just right for keeping your things tidy and readily available, yet out of the way. Deep egress windows bring in lovely natural light. Window treatments include blinds for privacy and blackout curtains to support a restful night's sleep.
We observe quiet hours upstairs to respect our guests and also realize some folks may be light sleepers - earplugs are provided and we are also happy to supply a fan to provide some additional white noise.
Between the bedrooms, a bonus room is all set up as a dedicated working space with a medium-sized desk and office chair. Close the door for a little privacy or to focus on an important task. At 1 Gig, our Wi-Fi speeds for upload and download are the fastest available in our area.
The living room layout is a bit funky, par for the course with a basement apartment, it seems! An exposed support post breaks up the floor space and means we've had to get a little creative with seating. This includes two leather recliners and two cozy saucer lounge chairs. The chairs are folded and set aside when not in use to free up the space. The wall mount, flat-screen TV features streaming services and is Wifi enabled.
The simple bathroom has a tiled, single stall shower where guests enjoy on-demand hot water which means everyone gets a long, hot shower...no rushing or waiting for a tank to reheat.
The disclaimers:
**Heads up for taller guests - the shower and toilet are a step up from the rest of the floor, making the stall seven-foot tall rather than the standard height one may be accustomed to!**
**Please note...there will likely be noise heard from activity in the upstairs space, where a family resides.**
**Our property has two motion activated, exterior security cameras, one at each entry.**
We do observe quiet hours to respect our guests. We also realize some folks may be light sleepers, in general - earplugs and a fan are also provided to create some additional white noise.

There is ample street parking available, and the house has easy, quick access to and from I-90 for travelers. There are two electronic entrances to the apartment, one entrance down a flight of stairs and the other entrance at street level through the back patio doors.
The neighborhood is within about a mile of downtown Missoula and also about a mile from the University of Montana campus and stadium. You can safely and easily walk, bike, or bus to UM events, Griz games, and downtown bars/breweries, yoga or cycling studios, coffee shops, spas and boutiques.
The apartment is basically at the base of Mount Jumbo and the popular trail to the "L". Greenough Park and Waterworks Hill are just blocks away. Lincoln Hills trail along Rattlesnake Creek is divine, and the main Rattlesnake Trailhead is within a few miles of the apartment.
Other things to note
The home is kid friendly and with a nearby park across the street. You can let them tumble around in the grass or stroll over to another nearby playground and tennis court.
You can safely and easily walk, bike, or bus to UM events, Griz games, and downtown bars/breweries, yoga or cycling studios, coffee shops, spas and boutiques.
