We stayed two nights here recently, and it was a perfect place for our family of 3. It seems to have been built (or remodeled) somewhat recently - everything seemed very new. Beautiful on the inside and outside. Very clean and comfortable. There are two bedrooms that share a single bathroom, but the bathroom was a good size with two sinks and a very nice bathtub/shower. I don't always sleep well on hotel beds, but these beds were comfortable and I slept great. We were in town to visit family on the west side of town, and this location was just minutes from our family and from various restaurants where we ate. Check-in was very straightforward, and communication with the property manager was very prompt and pleasant. Would definitely stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay at Pineywoods Blue Cottage nestled in the heart of East Texas. The house is new, clean, and beautifully done—very comfortable and welcoming. The location was perfect for us: only about 7 minutes from Planet Fitness, an excellent breakfast taco spot less than 3 minutes away, and a great local coffee shop just 5 minutes down the road. There’s also a large park right at the end of the street, which was a really nice bonus.Everything about this place made our stay easy and enjoyable. We will definitely be staying here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Great Place

This house was very cute and made us feel we were staying in luxury! It was perfect for our family of 5. The place was spotless and easy to get anywhere we needed to go in Lufkin. The managers were very communicative and helpful with anything we needed. Highly recommend this place if you want a cute place to stay!

New, clean and neat

Everything in the house is new and fresh. The house was clean and neat and nearly anything we needed was readily available. Comfortable beds and a variety of pillows and blankets available. We stayed 4 nights and utilized the kitchen which was well stocked. Would stay again!

Home Away From Home

This is my fourth stay at this beautiful quaint home. I so appreciate the home hostess. She is always communicating and making sure that I arrive and have all the instructions to access the home in a timely fashion. As long as I travel to Lufkin Texas, this will definitely always be my go to place to stay pending if it’s available. It’s always clean, always stocked and communication with the owners is A.
