We did not actually stay at the property listed here, right before check-in, the host notified us of an air conditioner issue and sent us to 728 James Street. They gave us two, two bedroom apartments instead of the house listed here. It was a good pivot and was much appreciated. I was notified very close to check-in, which wasn't a problem for us, as we were coming late, but for other guests such late notice might have been inconvenient. Overall 728 James Street was clean and comfortable. It did feel a bit like it wasn't totally guest ready, which might be due to the last minute change. The very modern bathroom is very nice but it's almost impossible not to get water everywhere when you shower, we used towels to try and mitigate for that, but a door or curtain would be welcome, and a bath mat too. There were no rods in the closet so you couldn't hang anything up if needed. Also the back doors of the apartments lead to the fire escape, each of them are locked, but our friends in the upstairs apartment had people rattling their back door late at night, they were safe, but it was unsettling and maybe some sort of extra security measure is needed. We're from Pittsburgh and familiar with the neighborhood, but someone from out of town might be put off. All that said, the apartments were just right for what we needed and we had a good stay.
