Great location and very very quiet. I stayed two weeks and not once did I hear a barking dog and other noises. Close to grocery stores and restaurants. Very clean house.

Property was great. Lake views excellent. The only suggestions I have are to have door mats inside both doors to help prevent tracking in dirt and leaves and have blinds with the option to close in the kitchen, dining room, living room. They provided pet dishes, beach towels and coffee, hot chocolate. The kitchen is beautiful. We enjoyed the property location, kayaks and fenced in back yard. I highly recommend.

My family of four had such a relaxing time at this cottage by the lake. The place was so well-decorated and clean. The windows on the front of the house look out onto the lake--what a beautiful view, especially in the fall with the leaves in color! There were plenty of coffee pods, clean towels, dishes and wine glasses! We spent time hiking at Gorge Metro Park and had an amazing dinner at the Industry Kitchen (highly recommended!). There are also a few breakfast places nearby (Honeymoon Grille) if you don't feel like cooking. All in all, we can't wait to come back! If you are looking to get away, this is the place!

The house matched description and pictures on line. The communication with the host was very open and response was timely. We loved the kitchen and large amount of counter top. Great wall of windows with tje view of lake with very comfortable chairs. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Great pet friendly stay! The views of the lake were beautiful and you’re pretty close to several restaurants and a grocery store. The fenced in backyard is perfect for kids and pets. Host was very communicative. We would definitely stay at this property again if we were to come back to the area!One thing to note if you have kids: The only downside is the staircase. It’s surrounded by railings in the living room and the couch is up against one of the railings overlooking the stairs. So if you have curious, active children like I do, you’ll need to keep a good watch on them when in the living room.

This property had everything we needed. The view is fantastic from the house overlooking the lake. We kayaked every day and the closest dock was within walking distance with the host's kayaks or slightly further if you bring your own like we did. Even our small dog was very comfortable. What a great time to celebrate my wife's birthday!

Beautiful home and perfectly clean. Lake life does offer many bugs outside, so be sure to bring your bug spray. The hot tub is a bit of a challenge. The steps are not aligned with the base of the hot tub. You have to swing your leg over pretty far to get in. The cover is also very heavy and does not have straps or an assistance bar to lift. The area on the water has seen better days and could use a clean-up or refresh or chairs. But overall we had a great stay.

Had a very nice stay in this Portage Lakes property, house was very clean, all appliances were new and beds were very comfortable. Perfect view of the lake and close to restaurants and area attractions!

Property was great loved the view of the Lake, and enjoyed it with my coffee every morning and relaxed sitting there in the evening. I think we only turned on the TV once the whole stay.

This property is exceptionally clean and updated in every way. Beautifully appointed. The setting is wonderful on beautiful Turkeyfoot Lake. Kayaking on the lake is great as it is a no-wake zone with no high-speed powerboats. Great place if you like to fish. I caught Perch, Catfish, and a huge 5lb Largemouth Bass. Lots of Ospreys, even a nest with young. The Pro Football Hall of Fame is just down the Interstate in Canton if you have a rainy morning. I also enjoyed biking on the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath. The trailhead access is only a few miles from the house. All in all, 5 stars for sure. Be aware that to get to the dock from the house, you descend steps to a road that you have to cross. The road divides the house from the dock. Look both ways twice before you cross as people tend to speed.

Loved our stay. Was a great place to relax. I was in town for my high school reunion. Lots of rain and cool weather the days I stayed, but I'm from AZ and it was so nice to be "home" and visit Akron ---and away from the heat.

We had a lovely time at the Hilltop Lake house! The view was gorgeous and the private dock was wonderful.Check in was a piece of cake and the kitchen was great.We would have liked a curtain over the bedroom window to block out morning light, but that is nitpicking.
