Lakeview Cottage: A Cozy Getaway Near the Beach

Enjoy a sand surround firepit, gas grill and charming garden as you relax after a day of play. There is ample seating for outdoor dining or just hanging out and relaxing. Lakeside Beach is just a 10 minute walk from the cottage. The Lakeside Beach has a sandy beach area, restrooms, shelters with picnic tables and a deck with benches overlooking Spring Lake. Or take your favorite beverage just steps away to enjoy the beautiful sunset. Explore the bicycle path situated within walking distance from the cottage. A multi-million dollar overhaul has transformed Spring Lake to a choice destination with award-winning restaurants, roof top and tiki bars and unique shopping. Enjoy Tanglefoot Park featuring a gorgeous pavilion that hosts the beautiful farmers' market, grassy picnic areas, and a very popular splash park. Take the bicycle path into Grand Haven where there is never a lack of fun things to do. There you can walk the 1.5 mile boardwalk enjoying ice cream; shopping at the numerous boutiques & antique stops, or enjoying a beach day at the beautiful sandy shores of Lake Michigan, and end the day with the award winning musical fountain.

The Space
The home is located on a large double lot with a fenced in, private back yard situated in a very quiet neighborhood. This 3 bedroom home has 2 bedrooms located on the main level and 1 queen sized bedroom upstairs. The queen sized main floor bedroom has black out curtains that ease you into that perfect night's sleep. The cottage is equipped with a well stocked, full kitchen, comfortable living room and separate dining area. The upstairs has a small hallway area with an office desk and chair. Enjoy a stroll through the quiet, but friendly neighborhood which gives off an immediate "vacation vibe."

Guest access
Guests will have full, private access to the house and yard with the exception of the basement and garage. The basement keeps owner storage. The garage may be used to access beach toys and the beach cart. Keyless entry and self check-in is available.

Other things to note:
Grand Haven State Park is a quick four mile drive, or a short scenic bike ride on the bike path, that extends all the way into Grand Haven and beyond. What does Spring Lake and Grand Haven have to offer? Award winning beaches, beautiful hiking trails, the 2nd largest waterfront musical fountain in the world (2nd to the Bellagio Resort in Las Vegas), boutique and antique shopping, local art, and waterfront dining and beach strolls.

We have everything you need to make your vacation relaxing. Games, beach toys, beach chairs and umbrella are available for use. Kayaks are available for a minimal fee. Life Jackets must be worn and waivers must be signed prior to use.
