Appalachian Suite In Town!- Inside newly remodeled Victorian Home

Castalain Hall is a couples retreat. This beautifully remodeled room is tastefully themed as a mountain chalet! Feel like you are vacationing in a luxury lodge. Clean, comfortable, and the perfect location for exploring the town. The home is just a few blocks from the famous Berkeley Springs State Park, downtown market and diverse shops. The room is located inside the historic Castalian Hall, a stunning hundred-year-old victorian home built for the ODA as a boarding house. Come vacation back in history.

The Mountain Chalet: The room offers a luxurious hybrid king bed with extra pillows for your comfort. Curl up in front of the cozy electric fireplace and watch a flick on a brand-new 55” flat screen with Roku. Enjoy the rooms many amenities like a private bathroom with spacious walk-in shower, ample closet space with shelves and hangers, and WiFi access. We have thought of many extras for the comfort of your stay including bath towels made of turkish cotton, a pair of terry bathrobes, extra bathroom toiletries, charging stations, mini-fridge, and a Keurig with coffee pods for your convenience. The room overlooks the only wooded acres in town in a quiet neigborhood.

The Castalian Hall: is a large victorian home with two levels. The first floor opens into an spacious dining area with two dining tables. Our small kitchenette is equipt with a Kuerig, microwave, and toaster. You also have access to dishware and wine glasses for a special evening.
Its the perfect place to have a private dinner for two.
The outside deck also has a small table for two where you can drink coffee and enjoy the morning.
At night, warm yourself in front of our fire pit under the stars. With the addition of our outdoor grill you can make it a BBQ night.

Parts of the home that are still under remodel are locked or clearly marked. These areas are off limits to guests for safety concerns. We are working to bring you larger access to all the stunning areas of this gorgeous home. The plumbing is replaced, but because of the size of the house, hot water can take a few minutes. Please be patient when running the water. Much of the home is original, and we are trying to preserve the features to last many years to come. The large windows are beautiful but old, some are difficult to open. Please do not force windows, if they are stuck, call us. The stairway is original, please treat it well. Rooms are not noise proof and may carry sound through the spacious home. Quiet time is after 10pm, please be respectful to other guests.

Around Town: The home is just a few blocks walk from the famous Berkeley Springs State Park, downtown market and diverse shops. Located in the center of historic Berkeley Springs, Berkeley Springs State Park is home to a mineral spa that has been in use since colonial times. The park is renowned for its warm spring water, which flows at a constant temperature of 74.3 degrees. The healing spring water is accessable through a channel that runs through the park and is open to the public year round. The park’s Old Roman and Main bathhouses offer a wide selection of spa services, including massages, saunas, baths and showers.
