Casita Girasol 🌻 ATX is a modern backyard bungalow that is central to everything in Austin. Inside, it's full of natural light with modern open living. Outside, the patio is just right for morning coffee or evening drinks under string lights. Welcome, y'all.

Casita Girasol ATX sleeps up to four. In the separate bedroom there's a comfortable queen bed with a green-certified mattress. In the living room there's a full-sized IKEA sofa bed. There's a full modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances. You'll find settings for four, wine glasses, a French press, and basic cookware.

If you need to work from the road, there's a USB charging station and gigabit internet. If you need to do laundry during your trip, there's a full washer and dryer. The bathroom has both a bathtub and shower. There's a small fenced yard and two good dogs are welcome with prior permission. (Sorry, no cats.) It's just up the block to parks, ponds, and trails. If you have an EV, you can Level 1 charge overnight with the front porch outlets.

The entire property is smoke-free, inside and out. We live onsite across the fence in the main house. You may see us, a few chickens, or a fuzzy dog in the main yard.

You'll have the entire casita, front patio, and front yard to yourselves. Self check-in through a private gated entrance. Parking is free and without restriction anywhere along the two neighborhood streets. The casita is accessible and visitable, with a zero-step entrance and smooth concrete flooring.

Casita Girasol ATX is right in the heart of the central eastside. On our block there are authentic tacos at Fruta Feliz, pizza and brews at Oddwood Ales, and highly-rated KG BBQ. There are craft drinks and music at Bobo's Snack Bar, coffee, brews, and kolaches at Batch, burgers at Redbud Icehouse, and local blues at The Skylark Lounge.

You can walk to the Sunday Farmer's Market, Mueller restaurants, or Alamo Drafthouse Cinema. By car it’s 5 minutes to Manor Road restaurants and to the UT campus, Moody Center concerts, and Longhorn football games. It's 10 minutes to downtown or to Auditorium Shores for SXSW. It's 12 minutes to ABIA airport or 15 to Zilker Park for ACL. And it's 25 minutes to COTA for NASCAR and F1.
