Beautiful house and pool with an outstanding view of the beach. Dominical is perfect for surf and boogie boarding with a great beach, lessons and board rentals right down the street. The 3 minute drive to restaurants, shops and grocery store made dining and shopping super easy. Ashley helped us schedule a fishing charter and my kids had a blast. We had a great vacation!

Truly Amazing Stay

From top to bottom, a phenomenal experience... Communication with Ashley was great from the start - you can tell she really cares about her guests' experience.The house looks beautiful in the photos, but they don't even do it justice. Not only are there so many amazing views, but the home had nice thought-out touches throughout that made our stay extra enjoyable.We're so glad that we hired Chef Rosbin to be there for our trip. His meals were absolutely delicious, and he was wonderful. It made things so easy!!!I'd recommend Ashley and her home to anyone looking for a wonderful getaway.

Sueños del Mar is wonderful! Ashley is a great host and her staff is friendly and helpful!! The kitchen is fully stacked and Ashley has everything you could imagine- beach chairs, toys, yoga mats, beach towels…ALL the things! The views are epic, sunsets magical and wildlife all around. We saw toucans, macaws, lizards, sea turtles, whales, dolphins and lots of beautiful vegetation. We did activities everyday; snorkeling at Caño Island, surfing (rented in Dominical) and body boarding, hiked to waterfalls, went to the market in Dominical, ate at Fuego and Café Mono Congo. We had The Private Chef come 2 nights and IT WAS AWESOME!! I would totally suggest it! Costa Rica is a family fav. We will see you again!

Perfect Stay with Stunning Views, Great Host, and Incredible Chef!

I had an amazing experience staying at this property! We stayed for seven days, and the house was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and perfect for our group. The ocean views were absolutely spectacular and made every morning and evening feel like a dream. The house is in a perfect location, close to everything we needed yet still peaceful and relaxing. Ashley, our host, was incredibly responsive, answering every question I had promptly and thoroughly. She went above and beyond by helping us set up excursions, which made the whole trip even more enjoyable and stress-free. We also scheduled Chef Rosbin for two dinners during our stay, and he was absolutely fantastic—the meals were a highlight of the trip. I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again!

Fabulous villa!

We stayed for 2 weeks to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The first week we had family with us including our grandchildren and the second week we had friends come. It is very near Dominical and Dominicalito. The pictures cannot possibly capture the beauty of it and how perfect it was to stay in. It was clean, beautifully decorated, and so comfortable. We all absolutely loved every moment! My grandkids were so disappointed when they had to leave! We would go out early in the mornings for our excursions and then in the afternoons hang out in the pool. Ashley was amazing at helping set up all of our tours and having massages at the villa. She coordinated shuttles for us, car rentals restaurant reservations and the chefs days. We had Chef Roger for dinners a few nights and Chef Rosbin for full days 4 days. Chef Rosbin’s meals were so delicious and we enjoyed getting to know him and his wife. It was a fabulous vacation and we would love to come back!

Best place for group to stay in Dominical!

Ashley was the most gracious hostess! She is from NC and she knows hospitality! Her home is absolutely stunning and so comfortable! Beautiful paintings everywhere. Well stocked kitchen! Our Chef, Rusben Was fabulous! Best snapper I’ve ever eaten!!! His desserts were so delicious and homemade! 5 star meals!!! We will be back!!!

Luxury Resort Amenities in a Private Setting

The property is amazing. The design is wonderful and flows very nicely for indoor-outdoor living. 4 of the 5 bedrooms are enclosed suites that open to the outdoors which creates mini private sanctuaries within the property for multiple families. The beach is technically walkable, but we never attempted it due to the elevation drop and the young kids in our party, however the driving to and from and parking was not an issue. Definitely more of a surfers beach in Dominical but a lovely little town and good home base for excursions up and down the coast. We opted to hire Chef Rosbin for the majority of the week and was an absolute highlight. He and his wife Wendy are such wonderful people and were nice to have in the property. For our party of two young families, the convenience of eating on our schedule at the property was really nice and comparatively more affordable than eating at restaurants in the area. Chef Rosbin was able to support a couple of gluten allergies in our party as well as special requests (including the octopus his friend caught one morning that we enjoyed in the evening). The pool area was 5 star resort level and an amazing amenity for the kids. Couldnt recommend this place more!

Just the best!

Can’t say enough good things about our stay. Ashley was the best travel coordinator we could have asked for, so helpful, knowledgeable and responsive. She booked surf lessons and excursions and the private chef. And the house was perfect for our group of 10 ranging in age from 3 to 80! The pool is incredible. The rooftop gym a bonus. Tons of sleeping and hanging space. Chef Rosbin cooked for us twice and it was delicious. Just be sure your rental car has 4 wheel drive, the driveway and most roads in Costa Rica are STEEP!

Absolutely beautiful

The pictures do not do it justice. It's 1000 times better!!!! The view is amazing and there are so many comfortable places to enjoy it from. Ashley (the owner) was wonderful, so sweet and helpful. She set up our activities and had the house stocked with food and drink when we got there. The chef services were outstanding. We had chef Rosbin and his wife for most of our time there and everything they cooked was absolutely delicious. On one of our days he stayed all day, providing bartending services, making yummy drinks. On our last day we had Private Chef services and their breakfast, lunch and dinner were top notch. Every meal, every day, was incredible, you are never left hungry and always have tons of leftovers. We didn't want to leave and we would recommend this house to anyone looking for an unforgettable vacation. Contoocook, NH USA

Extraordinary home!

We, along with our 3 adult children and their spouses, were so fortunate to spend 9 days in this stunning home. Everything about this home was exactly as described and pictured. Ashley responded to all of our questions in a timely manner and assisted us in making dinner reservations, booking tours and arranging transportation both to and from the airport and having cars delivered to the house. We had chefs come in on 4 different evenings to prepare dinners for us and what a treat that was! The meals were amazing and made our evenings so relaxing. One thing we weren’t clear on from the descriptions of the house was the number of bedrooms with attached bathrooms. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs and 1 on the main level (which isn’t pictured in the photos) all with attached bathrooms (the 5th bedroom on the main floor does not have a bathroom). This layout was perfect for 4 couples. The views from the upper level, the bedrooms and the pool area were breathtaking! The pool area was incredible and made you feel like you were at a 5 star resort! We would highly recommend staying at this property, you won’t regret it!

Unforgettable New Year's with Family & Friends

Dominical is an underrated beach on the west coast as it is 90 minutes from the main tourist area of Jaco. Once at the AMAZING villa, we were able to get around really easily. The beach just below the villa is a 7 minute walk and is one of the nicest parts of the beach that we saw on our stay. Few rocks, a lot of sand (it gets rockier closer to Dominical). We brought our own beach volleyball net and were able to play 4 hours around the low tide. Deep sea fishing we caught a surprising 30 lbs Rooster Fish, we did waterfall repelling, and kayaked the mangroves. All different and worthwhile. We spent a lot of time at the villa with all of the amenities, and everyone of us found our special place. My daughters' favourite place was the third floor gym, my husband and I loved the love seat with an umbrella, the covered living room was another favourite, as well as watching the sunset from the edge of the infinity pool. We ended up having a chef for all 6 days here as we had 10 people and didn't want to spend the time cooking - mostly there was too much food so we cut meals down to twice a day or just fruit for breakfast (especially with the heat). Going into down is walkable by the beach and side roads even in high tide, you just have to be creative with the higher tides. New Year's was a blast - our private chef went above and beyond. We played games and danced by the pool all night!

Paradise in Costa Rica

We are a family of two senior citizen parents, two adult sons and their spouses, and one 15 year old granddaughter. This house was perfect - everyone had their own space (bedroom with private bath). The house has an incredible indoor/outdoor flow and many many individual areas for reading, contemplating the beautiful ocean views, or, in our case, knitting! This is one of the most extraordinary houses I have ever seen. The kitchen is gorgeous and equipped with everything you might want or need. The pool area is amazing with a waterfall feature that is beautiful and soothing. This is the perfect house for a large family or any group that wants to get away and be together in a gorgeous setting. We highly recommend the option of hiring Chef Rosbin to prepare one or more dinners. He prepares gorgeous cocktails and appetizers to start. then calls you for a sit-down dinner that you ordered previously from a menu he supplies, and then he cleans up! We hired him and his wife for three dinners, and they were all delicious and wonderful. The host, Ashley, couldn’t have been more helpful. I peppered her with questions beforehand, and she never failed to respond quickly and completely. She arranged a mangrove boat tour for us, which we highly recommend. We had a great guide and saw lots of wildlife, from birds to crocodiles! Everything about this property is fantastic. Treat yourself to a remarkable experience!

Our family SUCH an incredible time in Dominical!! Ashley was waiting for us upon arrival, took our bags for us and gave us a tour. The views and functionality and open air feel of the space are unparalleled. The home is absolutely stunning and so comfortable- the views of the ocean and jungle are breathtaking, the pool is gorgeous and so relaxing and fun for the whole family, the lounge chairs everywhere were so inviting- we had to alternate where we would sit to savor it all. She had yoga mats, boogie boards, beach towels and chairs lined up in impeccable order for our use.. the outdoor shower got used daily after the beach and felt so good to rinse off before coming in, the kitchen had everything you could need- they had a ton of fresh fruit and drinks for us upon arrival, the washer dryer are large and all of the rooms are air conditioned. We anlso felt very safe. Ashley was beyond kind, helpful and available for us- making recommendations and helping us book local services. My overall experience was probably the best I’ve ever had on VRBO … I rarely leave reviews but I was too blown away not to.

Incredible!

The house was more than we could have ever imagined! The location is perfect and within a short drive to anything you could want to do. Everything was very clean. Plenty of dishes and utensils for all of our meals. Two different chefs made dinner and both did a great job. Rosbin was our favorite. I can’t describe how beautiful the views and the property are. Ashley was wonderful to work with from start to finish. I hope we get to go back one day!

You will not find a better place!! View Check, Amenities Check, Host Double Check. Private bedrooms layout gives you that resort feel, but with the comforts of home.

Didn’t want to leave

I spent a long time trying to find the perfect place and this place did not disappoint. I bookend this property two years in advance so the expectations grew and upon arrival it exceeded expectations. The host Ashley was a gem and was always available to answer a question or address a concern. We hired Chef Roger and his meals were out of this world But my favorite part is the pool area and the ocean views as good as any 5 star resort and it’s all yours. You would go back in a heartbeat

Relaxed luxury vacation!

Everything was perfect!! The host graciously supported our much delayed arrival (bad traffic conditions); the accommodations were incredible; the location is fantastic; the checkout was simple! And the personal chef Chef Rosbin and Wendy were AMAZING!! 10 out of 10 Highly recommend!

Wonderful experience

Really enjoyed this beautiful property. Infinity pool overlooking the Pacific Ocean was amazing. Kitchen was fully stocked with utensils for every cooking occasion. I highly recommend having chef Roger prepare a meal or two for your group. His creativity and passion put forth provided our group with an incredible dining experience. We will be back!

Family Vacation

Beautiful property, I will duplicate this build on our land in Utah. National Park near Quepos was Awesome, and the Nauyaca Waterfalls nearby was Outstanding. Do not visit the Animal Reserve nearby. The Cook and wife Wendy Awesome and Outstanding. Great People. Also great people in the Neighbor hood stores and restaurants.

Summer Vaca

We enjoyed our vacation immensely! Ashley was super helpful in providing needs for our stay, as well as, setting up rental cars, booking waterfall tours, fishing excursions and Chef Rosbin and his wife for us to enjoy delicious dinners during our time at Suenos Del Mar! We had an extended family from 9 mo. to 70 and this property was great for everyone. Lots of comfortable room (most en suite), great view, wonderful swimming pool that worked great for everyone. We also hired Rosbin and Wendy to do our meals. Not only did that allow us to totally relax, but the food was fresh, tasty and plentiful. Nearby beach was great and fun to visit nearby nature reserve and Dominical, which has a fun brewpub with decent beer. All around a vacation we will treasure!
