Amazing property with pool in a Gated Community in the middle of nature with lots of animals to see, walking distance to the beach. You will have another 10 different beaches in 20 minutes driving distance, Golf course, 1 Italian grocery store just 3 minutes driving distance. Additionally 3 local grocery stores, ATM, Hospital, Dentist, Manicure/Pedicure, Barber shop, Restaurants just around the corner or 8 minutes drive to Paquera. Big chance to see howler monkeys during your stay, lots of birds, parrots, Macaws and other animals in the area.

Chill on the deck in the evening having a glass of wine and enjoy the sound and vibes of mother nature.

You can do many amazing tours in the area, host is going to give a PDF with all options and will even book them for you if required. Isla Tortuga Tour, Waterfall tour, Curu National Park, Bird watching, Kayak, SUP, Surf, spectacular night Kayak Bioluminescence tour, horse riding and more.

Everything about this place was stellar. Carlos was a life saver when we got lost, and helped with restaurants and tours. El Punto was the best restaurant btw. We thoroughly enjoyed the monkeys and birds, since the house really was in the jungle. Since it is Costa Rica, the roads were a challenge and sometimes a little scary, but that's part of the deal when you visit another country. We absolutely loved it.

We loved this place!! The owners have done everything right to create a beautiful comfortable vacation rental. The pool and multiple sitting areas around the deck are inviting and relaxing. The trees all around the property were filled with birds and monkeys daily- it was amazing! We appreciated the Guestbook Manual the owners provide. Host Carlos, is helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable about the whole area of Paquera. Casa Colibri exceeded our expectations. Pura Vida!

If visiting Paquera, stay here!

This house was beautiful and well equipped with everything needed. There are so many great things to say about this property! Carlos was very attentive and helpful booking our excursions. The bioluminescence kayak tour is an absolute must do! Morning coffee on the deck, watching monkeys is another must do! monkeys!

Beautiful space surrounded by nature

Carlos was a great host and his property was beautiful and well maintained. Communication with Carlos was easy and he even met us at the front gate to make sure we got in and found our way alright. The house itself is modern and clean with everything you might need, including nice little extras like a birding guide and binoculars, flashlights, and even yoga mats! The kitchen has plenty of dishes, pots, pans, etc to do some cooking there, but the restaurants that Carlos recommended were also great. We enjoyed walking down to the nearby beach, but be aware that the walk back is up a steep hill that may be difficult for some. We loved being able to come back from the beach, rinse off under the outdoor shower, and then enjoy a shadier swim in the pool. If you are visiting Costa Rica to be surrounded by amazing jungle plants, to look for interesting birds, butterflies, or even howler monkeys, but you still want modern conveniences like air conditioning, streaming networks, and comfy beds then Casa Colibri is the place to be! You will love it!

Tolles Haus in einer kleinen Wohnanlage im Dschungel. Der Salzwasserpool ist ein Highlight und den nahen Strand hat man in der Woche für sich alleine. Wir haben jeden Tag Brüllaffen in den Bäumen über dem Pool gesehen.Carlos ist ein sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber.
