Cabin in private Lake Arrowhead residential area (no full time residents, most homes are 2nd homes) sets on a hill across the road overlooking quiet Lake Little Bear. Cabin now has a dog run on property! Hot tub usable all year 'round!


Association Park which has the pool usable from Memorial weekend to Labor weekend, also has a playground, pavilion, basketball court, (bring a basketball) picnic tables, bbq grills, beach, swimming area with swim platform and a brand new pickle ball court ....and is walking distance from cabin with a heated outdoor association swimming pool open Memorial Weekend to Labor Weekend which is a shared pool for members and guests! Weekdays are quiet at the pool, most homes in neighborhood are second homes.

Bring your wave runners and small motor boats as the all sports lake, Lake Arrowhead is less than one block walking distance from cabin.

Fishing is excellent at both lakes in the neighborhood, fish off the association dock and you can see the fish you are aiming for! Lake has bass, perch, bluegill, sunfish, & pike and you can see them swimming by on a calm morning or evening as lake is crystal clear.

Over 25 golf courses, most within 30 minutes of Cabin.

Snowmobile DNR trails accessible within 10 min from home, you can ride sled from cabin to trail. Also Ski Hills nearby. Boyne and TreeTops both within 20-25 min from cabin!
Plenty of trailer parking!

PARK/PAVILION/POOL: Pickle ball & basketball courts as well as play ground for the kiddos and is walking distance with a heated outdoor association swimming pool open Memorial Weekend to Labor Weekend which is a shared pool for members and guests!

Rain day or looking to do something different:
• Gaylord Bowling Center: Go Bowling on their 24 lanes
• Gaylord Cinema: Take in a newly released movie
• Otsego County Sports-Plex: where kids and grownups can swim in an Olympic-size pool or rent a pair of skates and take to the ice for 'wintertime' fun, even as the sidewalks are sizzling outside.
• Energy Outlet: a quaint park filled with slides, swings and climbing equipment. Throughout the park are structures embedded with information and etchings of the dinosaur age, and surrounding all the fun stuff is a paved walking track.
• Call of the Wild: where lifelike replicas of Michigan's wildlife will greet you at every turn of the tunnel. Go carts, Mini Golf, Gift Shop, Fudge, Ice Cream.
•Bird Watcher's Paradise! See the Bald Eagles which live on the lake. Also Pileated woodpeckers, loons, ducks, hummingbirds plentiful.
•Come in May for Morel Mushroom Hunting-Just walk in the woods nearby!
•Traverse City 45 minutes away
•Petoskey 35 minutes
•Mackinaw City within 1 hour
•Boyne Mountain 25 min away
•Less than 15 min to Gaylord town which includes Lowes, Home Depot, Walmart, Meijers, shopping and restaurants, six-screen movie theater, Otsego County Sportsplex
•Other things to note:
Hot tub water is changed out between guests so may not be hot until early evening. Water comes out of tap at 50 degrees and hot tubs heat up 6-10 degrees an hour with hot tub cover on.
