You will be located in Maui Vista unit 3207, across from Charley Young Beach on the north end of Kamaole Beach 1 (KAM 1) where you find white sand beaches attributed to South Maui.

Maui Vista Resort is a three-building property in South Maui with lush gardens, shady plumeria trees, 3 pools and 6 tennis/pickleball courts. Your condo is in building 3, with a garden view 500 yards to the beach.

The 1 bedroom/1 bath, 2-person unit has a tropical atmosphere and just open the sliding glass door to let in the ocean breeze view the plumeria trees in the front and take in a glimpse of Haleakala out your back door! The cross breeze is delightful.

The kitchen is equipped with all you will need, such as, coffee maker, filters, cooktop, oven, dishwasher, cookware, dishes, glassware and eating/grilling utensils, kitchen linens with bistro dining. You are also just steps away from the BBQ grills.

The unit has a beautiful brand new walk in luxury shower, a new 42” smart tv, washer/dryer, stylish lanai furnishings, queen size bed, ceiling fans and a/c in both the living room and bedroom, large 6-drawer dresser and spacious closet. Blow dryer, iron and ironing board, bathroom linens and shampoo, conditioner & body soap.

You also will have two beach chairs, beach cooler, boogie board, two tennis racquets, tennis balls and two beach towels. The pool is outside your unit and you’ll have cold thermos mugs to take poolside.

It’s whale season now and you can see humpback baby breaches right offshore across from the condo. There are several whale watching tours, snorkeling tours and dining cruises out of Ma’aelea Harbor just 20 minutes north of the condo.

Charlie Young Beach offers spectacular views as you swim, snorkel, sunbathe, body surf, or just stroll along the shoreline. You can walk south along the shoreline from Charley Young beach all the way to the Wailea Resorts past KAM 1, KAM 2, KAM 3, Keawakapu and Ulua.

Walking north is Cove Park, where you can watch the south shore surfers! Simply walk down to get surfing and paddle boarding lessons. You can also rent boards there.

Visiting Historic South Kihei District is only a short walking distance from the condo and Kalama Park. Boasting a full grocery store, coffee shops, local shopping, buzzing markets, food trucks, and spectacular dining.

Next door to the south is the famed Kihei Café and ABC for quick groceries, snacks, ice and libations. A liquor store, paddle board rental at Boss Frog’s shack is also right there.

The upscale Wailea is just a short drive or bus ride, with close access to more of the sandy beaches on the island along with boutique shopping and fine dining restaurants. You could even get some tee times on one of the 3 world-class championship (Emerald, Gold and Blue) golf courses that have made South Maui so famous!

If traveling with a Turo or rental car, you’ll love to visit Paia Town and Makawao Town, both boasting local beach shops and alfresco dining. You’ll also be on your way to Mama’s Fish House where the fish are caught by locals each morning, Ho’okipa Beach Park Turtle Sanctuary and Jawz for the big Surf! Further up the North Coast is Hana Highway where you’ll see waterfalls in abundance, black sand and red sand beaches, and a bamboo forest.

To the South past Wailea is La Perouse, and the volcano fields with gorgeous views and a rocky hike to the Lighthouse. Take a picnic and your chairs to Maluaka Beach, Big Beach or Little Beach on your way back.

Up on the West Side, Ka’anapali has excellent shopping and restaurants at Whalers Village, with a drive up to Black Rock jumping spot for locals, Ka’anapali Beach and further up to Honolua Bay for fabulous snorkeling and Olivine Pools for exploring the surf.
