HÖCHSTSTUFE:
Die Aktivitäten des Hauses befinden sich in einem großen Raum mit Zugang zum großen Meerblick. Gut ausgestattete Küche mit Bar (Platz 4) High-Top-Esstisch (Plätze 8). Familienzimmer mit Gaskamin (saisonal verfügbar) und einem 55-Zoll-Flachbild-HDTV und Blu-ray / DVD mit aufgewertetem Kabel einschließlich HBO, Cinemax und Showtime. Balkonblick bietet Platz für einen Schreibtisch und einen zusätzlichen Tisch, der sich perfekt zum Kartenspielen eignet, sowie eine einfache Überprüfung der Aktivitäten im unteren Familienbereich. Eine abgeschirmte Veranda, ein halbes Badezimmer und eine Waschmaschine / Trockner. Die Veranda ist auch vom King Master Bedroom, einem 42-Zoll-Flachbild-HD-TV und einem Badezimmer mit zwei Waschbecken, separater Dusche und Whirlpool-Badewanne.

Ziehen Sie sich in einen anderen Versammlungsbereich im Turmzimmer zurück, wo Sie TV, Xbox, ein ausziehbares Doppelschlafsofa und einen herrlichen Meerblick vom Balkon aus genießen können. OBX stay

Found our stay at the Blue-Eyed Lookout to be everything we expected and more. House was extremely accommodating, pool and hot tub made for perfect ending or beginning to our day before the beach or site seeing. Shuttle service to beach ran every 20 minutes, Driver Kate was one of our favorites.

Great place - clean and good location

The house was as listed with a nice private pool and hot tub which was maintained twice a week. The house was clean and located close to the grocery store and restaurants. Quiet, gated community.

Currituck club home

The property was as pictured. Not a lot of room for everyone to gather in the great room. The house was clean and in a good location. The screened in porch was very nice in the mornings and evenings. The pool and hot tub were nice. It’s a little dated on the inside but very good for what we needed it for.

Nice neighborhood

The house was fine. A few amenities would have been nice, such as a bathmat for the main bathroom, a bit of hand soap in any bathroom, a second dishwasher pod. Luckily we were a very short drive away from the grocery store. A couple of the stove top burners either did not work at all or were so greasy underneath that they smoked badly. The property managers were amazing. I dealt directly with four different people and everyone was courteous, respectful, and extremely helpful.

Well equipped and comfortable

The home is in a great location, quiet neighborhood with a great view of the ocean from the kitchen, upstairs room with telescope or back porch. You don't need the telescope to see the ocean from the house. My family thoroughly enjoyed the week there. It's an open concept so the noise can carry sometimes but we are used to it since our home is open as well. Three bedrooms downstairs and one on second level. I'm not sure that was in the description but it was great because we traveled with our parents. They did have to come upstairs for meals since the kitchen was on the second floor. Lots of tvs, videos and games. Most of all I loved that I didn't have to bring sheets for all those beds and towels which are very cumbersome. The house lacked nothing when it came to our family. There are a few things that have been damaged from wear and tear but still very usable and some not very noticeable unless you're the one using that item. The management company was awesome to deal with from the start and answered every question quickly. Loved that my sister and I could bring our dogs along as well. This was a big bonus for us. We had a great time and would rent this property again.

We are happy you thoroughly enjoyed the home and that there were many pluses for you, i.e., sheets for the beds, towels, and being able to bring your dogs! As you mentioned, the linens can take up a lot of space and it's nice to not have to worry about that when you pack. Many of us like to bring our dogs with us too, so we can appreciate how it felt for you and your sister to have your canine companions vacationing with you. Take good care and we hope to see you again in 2018!

Almost perfect

The house description was right on, lots of rooms with plenty of space. Kids loved roaming around and always had room to play or get space. Our biggest complaint was floors did not appear vacuumed well and the pool had a ton of weeds surrounding it which did not look well kept.

Comfortable and fun, but needs a little TLC.

House had ample space. Pool and hot tub were nice amenities. Neighborhood was nice. Beach is a 10 minute trolly ride away. Very limited beach parking available near development. House is well stocked, but does need some updating and general TLC.

This house was a great place to stay for a week in OBX. Close to groceries, easy access to the greenway, and easy drive to the beach. House was comfortable and the pool was very nice. Awesome neighborhood. We would stay here again. Value for the money...hard to beat.

First of all it wasn’t a terrible experience staying there— However, you can tell the owners are rarely there. We sent pictures of mold on the first floor decking— some moldy issues on the second floor decking, moldy issues on front steps going into house, and several other unkept property issues to the property management team. They contacted the owner and said no partial refund or any refund, and they would offer 10% off the next time stayed there— we won’t ever go back to this property. We didn’t use the pool because the intake to cycle the water wasn’t working— the hand skimmer to remove leaves and the like was broken. The grill was rusted so bad is wasn’t used— The grime in hallways leading to upstairs — on walls and handrails— the grime on first floor hallway was also bad. If I had a rental property and a renter gave me the photos that I gave the owners, my reaction would of been different. A lot different. They have a sign stating to treat this home as if it was yours. My wife stated we treat our home a lot better.

Great house, great time!

My family and I stayed here the first week of September 2017, and we had a just a couple days to take advantage of the many Currituck Club amenities before they ended after Labor Day! If you don't feel like driving there's a complimentary trolley that shuttles guests to, and from, the beach, where they have a valet to help you take your things to the beach and setup. There's also a concession stand that will deliver your food to you on the beach, if they aren't too busy. There are other amenities, but those are the ones we used. About the house. It was just the right size to where we didn't feel crowded on top of each other, and it's perfectly situated so that the 3rd floor room has beautiful views of the sound and ocean! It was very clean, and no pet odor that the humans could detect. We like to cook, which can be a challenge in some kitchens, not this one! The well outfitted and organized kitchen made meal prep so easy! The pool and hot tub were great to relax in after a day at the beach. There's a convenient seat built in to one end of the pool, that can also double as a play area for small, supervised children. The beds, especially in the master bedroom were so comfortable! I don't think I've slept better on any other vacation! If I had to find a negative, if you have a lower, longer car, it may scrape a bit coming in and out of the driveway, but just adjust your angle and you'll be fine.

Family Trip to the Beach

We had a wonderful time and would do it again :) The House was wonderful and the kids loved the pool. The dogs and I watched the Sunrise every morning with a Cup of Coffee on the middle Balcony and we took long walks in the early morning hours as well as late evening. The Community is just beautiful, clean and well taking care off. OVERALL AAA+++

A Great Time Was Had by All

Our family's first visit to the Outer Banks was wonderful! Our home "Blue-Eyed Lookout" was the perfect place for our family. We had two minor issues (ants in the kitchen cabinet and the AC went out). But, the management/service team from Paramount Destinations took care of both within an hour. We were so impressed with their speedy service and their friendly demeanor. This house had EVERYTHING we needed for a great visit. The trolley service to the beach was awesome. Also, the valet service for our beach stuff was so helpful. We will be back for sure!

The attention to detail in the furnishings was a very pleasant surprise. The big screen TV with upgraded cable channels, the bikes and floaties in the garage, the abundance of pots, pans, and every utensil required, and just the little things. All of these little things added up to less worrying about not having these things while on vacation. Basically, just bring a suit case of clothes, and everything else is taken care of, which is all that you can ask for when going on vacation. I'd stay here again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house has incredible views and many accessories for children--DVDs, games, water toys. It is,however,in need of TLC. Showers and bath are mildewed, area around pool was lined by weeds, house, fence and stairs to front and back, all need upkeep. Kitchen is well-equipped but dining room and living room furniture are too large for scale of room making it difficult to get to chairs or move around room. We had 4 adults and 2 children in our party.

The Blue Eyed Lookout

Rating Details: I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was very clean. The property manager was more than helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was very nice although upon arrival we found a shower door hanging off. We called the rental company and within minutes they had someone there and it was fixed! The location was great. Very private and quiet area right near one of the public pools. We did have our own pool but it was on the small side. Overall I have very few complaints and would return again!

Beautiful Beach Home...Location?

Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was more than helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a lovely home! Decor is perfect, the floor plan allows for beautiful light throughout the home and a feeling of spaciousness. Owners had lots of nice touches, especially for our grandkids ages 7 and 5 - books, games, and videos. House was immaculate. The only disadvantage to this home was that it is not in Whalehead where the streets are wider and there's more space between homes. You can traffic noise from the main road which borders the backyard where the pool we are not golfers, the Currituck Club itself was not a plus for us. If you don't mind the location, it is a truly lovely home.

Love This House

The Paramount Destinations management company also is the best we have dealt with during our 22 years of coming to the Outer Banks.

Nice House but Dirty

Rating Details: I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. The property manager was adequately helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Ist time in 7 years that we were able to get in property by 4pm. The house cleanliness was not good. Bedspreads were all stained and obviously not laundered, tables, baseboards curtains were all overly dusty and there was even broken glass on the kitchen floor. Starter paper products consisted of no more than six squares of toilet paper per bathroom, which was to say the least SAD. Lastly there was white pet hair on every sofa, and pillow!!! The house was very spacious and well furnished just very dirty. Would recommend if there was better cleaning.
