We had the best VRBO experience at Harbor House. The hosts are absolutely fabulous. The house was perfect, just as presented online. 6 of us adults and a little French bulldog spent a long weekend there so we could cheer on our son (one of the visitors) as he ran the half Ironman in Madison. He LOVED the hot tub afterward. Great visit. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Property was clean, fun, and a perfect location for our family to stay for a wedding. We had ages 6 weeks to 55yrs and all had fun. Definitely would recommend this for other families.

A perfect place to host our family!! The owners have put lots of thought & care into having everything you need. From board games, to kids dishware, pack & plays, outdoor toys, toiletries etc. These little touches make you feel at home. The boat rental next door was very convenient & made for a fun weekend on the water.Very clean, relaxing weekend for all ages! We will be back!! :)

Great family time

We stayed at Harbor House. It was just as described. So much room for multiple families to stay together. The Rock River was in our backyard. Great for fishing and the dog enjoyed swimming, too. Tyler was very responsive when we had questions. So many amenities were provided that you don't usually find. So happy with this property!

Cozy riverside cabin!

We just stayed a few days to get out of town, and had a great time! The house itself is neat and organized and has just about everything you’d need. The huge game room garage was a family favorite, with ping pong, arcade games, and a nice big game table. There was tons of room to spread out. Everything was stocked nicely, such as the coffee bar downstairs—and the kids loved the “hot chocolate station” with all the trimmings. The hot tub was awesome, and so relaxing to sit in while the cold wind was howling around. In cold weather there isn’t as much going on nearby but we were more there for relaxing, reading, playing board games, and hanging out in the hot tub, so it was fine.

Perfect lake getaway

This property had everything for the kiddos. The hosts have taken a lot of time to think of all the little details that kids need for entertainment. Kust steps away from the back porch to the water is great. The private dock was great to have. We didn’t have a boat but the kids loved jumping off of it.. the house was clean And the check in and out was a piece of cake. Would rent again in a heartbeat, and probably will. I would also recommend to anyone with kids looking for a little lake/river getaway.

pluses. The house was very clean and spacious. the owners had games to play inside and also provided kayaks and paddle boards for us to use. we really enjoyed the fire pit, which was great. the location is right on the river near the lake and close to rent pontoon boats and jet skis (it is pricey). made for a great vacation. Minuses, not many. it would be nice to have a ladder on the dock so older people like me would have an easier time getting in and out of the water.

Great Girl’s Weekend!

Tyler and Whitney are responsive, caring hosts who have filled the house with seemingly endless thoughtful touches. Terrific place for families - you can leave most of the baby equipment at home! They provide a washer/dryer, games, bedside touch lamps, bottled water in the fridge, a fantastic coffee bar, the deck is awesome, and we enjoyed playing ping pong and the old-fashioned video games in the converted garage. Great place for kids to hang out! The kitchen was really well stocked and includes a dishwasher. There were luggage racks, blankets for sitting by the fire, ingredients for s’mores - crazy generous amenities we really appreciated. Best of luck to you and your family Tyler!

Low Key Bachelor Party

This lake/riverside cabin is amazing. Bed space, living space, outdoor leisure space, and garage space is ample. Parking isn't great for more than 4 vehicles, but other than that, this was everything it promised and more. If we had a boat with us, it would've been incredibly easy access with the dock off the back side of the house. TV access and number of TVs allowed us to play online gaming which was awesome with the 10 of us. Had a few issues with the number of cars we had parked outside, but the host was super patient and understanding with us and helped relocate some of the vehicles in safe places. I'd absolutely come back here! Oh and the two bars/restaurants you can easily hear the outdoor music from the deck and walk to and from them within 5 minutes. Again, great spot and great host!

Beautiful A-Frame with Exceptional Amenities and Spectacular Host

Our group of five adults stayed at this wonderful VRBO, and it was truly an exceptional experience. The A-Frame house is beautifully maintained, stocked, and managed, offering amenities that go above and beyond any other place I've stayed at. The fully stocked firepit, ample sleeping space, and an AMAZING coffee bar were just the beginning. We also enjoyed the ping-pong table, well-equipped kitchen, beautiful lake view, and kayaks—just to name a few. The communication with the host was spectacular, making our stay even more comfortable and reassuring. The location is convenient, with easy access to a fantastic boat rental offering a variety of "floating toys." However, it's worth noting that while the access is easy, there were times when it got a bit noisy due to nearby traffic and late-night music from a nearby bar. If you're seeking a completely quiet getaway, this might be a trade-off to consider. Overall, this is one of the best-hosted homes I've ever stayed at, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a well-equipped and beautiful vacation spot.
