Please remember you’re staying in a person’s house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect, just as the previous guests have. If any problems arise, I will do my best to take action ASAP, but please note nobody is living on-site 24-7.
For most non-emergency issues, I do not send maintenance to the property during your stay, only after you depart.
- DO NOT INSTANT BOOK WITH A PET. YOU MUST SEND A REQUEST FIRST- ALL PETS REQUIRE PRE-APPROVAL! ONLY DOGS WILL BE CONSIDERED.
- A copy of your passport or state ID is required prior to check-in. The minimum age to book is 25.
- Completed check-in form and signed rental agreement required before check-in
- 4 people max.
- Out of respect for our cleaner and the next guest`s time, there is no late checkout or early check-in. If you arrive early or depart late, there will be a $50 charge per hour. (You CAN request early check-in or late check-out. If approved, there is no extra charge for the time given.)
-No refunds for weather/natural disasters/power outages/acts of god/ other things beyond our control.
-Stays longer than 28 days require a signed lease. The lease must be executed at least 1 week before check-in. If booking less than 7 days before check-in, the lease must be executed before checking in.
-There is a camera (audio and video recording) above the front door for your protection. If you touch or tamper with the cameras, you will be asked to leave immediately.
- Your cleaning fee covers normal wear and tear during your stay. Any stains or excessive mess may result in additional charges from our cleaner, which you will be responsible for.
- Pet rules: All pets must be crated when left alone (we can provide a crate if given advanced notice). Pets must not be a nuisance in any way (e.g. crying, barking, etc) or aggressive. No pets on the furniture. All pets must be on a leash outside the home. Bring your own bags to clean up pet waste as we do not provide them. The pet fee does not cover picking up your pet`s waste. If we have to clean up after your pet, you will incur additional charges. Please be respectful of our home and the neighborhood. The fee is $25/day (plus tax) per pet. Pet fee must be paid prior to arrival and is not included in the nightly rate.
-TRAVEL INSURANCE: We highly recommend you purchase travel insurance in the event you need to cancel outside of the cancellation window as a refund will not be issued.
-Bugs & Pest Control: Our property receives regular professional pest control. However, as is typical in Florida, occasional bug sightings may occur, especially if doors or windows are left open—particularly at night when lights attract insects. This is a normal part of the local environment and does not indicate an infestation. Such occurrences are not grounds for cancellation, refund, or compensation.
- While issues are uncommon, we are committed to addressing any concerns that may arise during your stay. Guests agree to notify us promptly and allow us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the matter. Remedies will be provided at the host’s discretion, and refunds are not guaranteed.
- As an API Connected property, a card on file is required for incidentals, similar to a hotel.
